jehennam:
she sat down, despite knowing what the future held for her. death, it was death that lingered in her glowing shadow. it followed her to every corner of the earth and every part of the galaxy. it breathed down her neck and stroked her hairâŠÂ and she did not keep a close watch on it at all times it would consume her. unhinge itâs jaws and swallow her very essence into the void⊠not even the heart of azam would do anything to save her now. but she could not leave this existence without clawing her nails into the fabric of time and forcing her memory to live on forever. her family would not die and disappear as they once did, she would make sure they would stand for thousands of years and be relived.
that was the least she could do for her sister, for her family. it was the only way she could understand that she was the last one.
âthe future is something that i can already understand and grasp,â she began. many nnjid with all seeing eyes had given their service to her. it was the same, it was always the same. she had no need for another telling of a tragic story, as it already settled in her heart as the absolute truth. âi am interested in my past however.â
kayako hums then, listening to the woman patiently though her gaze is somewhat heavy and eyes half lidded - the past is not as hard to conjure as the future; it is set in stone, unchanging. regardless, she is a bit nervous - her mother had done something similar for  client before, but she had little more knowledge than that to go on. â hold on a moment, â she requests, a slight bow of her head given as she stands and ducks into the back room briefly. when she returns, she places two stones on the table before the empress. â sapphire for clarity and citrine for memory - you place them in the palms of your hands and then.. my hands will be placed on top of yours. â for a moment, she pauses, trying to remember exactly how her mother had once said it, â and then, if your memory is strong enough - and.. if i am strong enough - we will be able to see it as it once was; a sort of illusion. though.. we wonât be able to change anything, of course.. i hope that is enough. â

organgrow:
god this was so EASY! she was basically crawling into the spiderweb that miyako created. of course everything had to be done nicely for her to get the kill. do you know how MUCH modelâs features sell on the market? thousands! MILLIONS! every slimeball that wanted to live a decade longer constantly were on the hunt for young and healthy organs. miyako merely provided the service.
âof course~â manicured fingers hand over the phone to her âfriendâ. âwhen can i call you? we should get brunch or something.â
â well, â kayako begins and long fingers curl around the offered device, â if youâre taking over most of my work iâm sure youâll just be swamped with shoots soon so - whatever works best for you. â swiping the lock screen, kayako proceeds to enter her number into miyakoâs contacts - making sure to add a little heart next to her own name for good measure. â just text me when you get a chance - that way i have your number too. â though she was having a hard time deciding whether or not to name her nessie or gangrene, she would have plenty of time to mull it over while simultaneously plotting out the death of her career. â who knows, maybe we can even be in some shoots together. â

âIâm talking to a short person.â The fact that she has to stare UP at him should already say enough about her height. âNot my fault if you think thatâs an insult. Youâre short.â
â well, itâs definitely not a compliment ! â telling a model theyâre short, talk about a huge blow to the self-esteem - if should could reach his face, she would have smacked it. â iâm kayako hiiragi - you know, â the living god â ? â

VERSE UPDATE D.GRAY-MAN 01. TAKE A BREATH FOR THE FATHER.
kayako is a seventeen year old exorcist of the black order â specifically the asian branch. she was found to be compatible with her innocence at nine years old somewhere in eastern china. (notably, her ancestors previously resided in Japan, but when the country enacted itâs isolationist policy some 300 years ago they were shut out of their home altogether). kayako was born to a poor farming family whose single heirloom was a crystal ball passed down from generation to generation. when it was given to kayako she begin to have visions - she could tell the future and even heal minor cuts and illnesses - and so, she became revered as a living god - âarahitogamiâ they called her. this eventually brought the attention of the black order, followed by the akuma - her family was killed in the battle between the two and the black order became her new home.
INNOCENCE: SHINTAKU ( divine sight ) kayako is currently an equipment type user; her innocence is crafted into two twin jewels that dangle from either wrist and help her to divine. the bangles are crafted from jade and are actually crafted to fit her wrists exactly (though it was difficult to get them on - she injured both hands, and now she canât take them off) - the jewels are crafted from moonstone ( see here ) and house the bulk of her innocence - jade promotes balance and peace, and moonstone is associated with innocence and clear thinking.Â
kayakoâs synchronization rate is somewhere between 89 to 93 percent, though notably there was an instance where she dropped to 35 percent due to her selfish behavior and lack of resolve.

war is war is war - kayako doesnât need the power of an absent god to tell him that neither side will come out entirely on top. â allen walker - he killed you once already, didnât he? â she speaks then, with an absolute certainty - as if seeing through his own half-lidded gaze - and fingertips trace the outline of his scars atop loose material (she moves like water, fluid and unattainable). â what makes you think he wonât do it again? â ( @disenvow / â„âd! )

@cagefated / sc.
the empress was not easily impressed. humans on earth were not a species to be jealous over. they were fragile and mentally weak. only a handful practiced magik or were intelligent enough to be able to even understand itâs concept. the earth, she noticed, was simply disappointing. it was a giant trash heap that floated around the galaxy uselessly. it was these facts that drove the empress to be filled with such HATE and disdain. the powerless creatures of this land managed to cause gehennam so much pain, so much suffering. she was being sung a gospel she did not want to hear.
âam i suppose to be enamoured by your ability of clairvoyance?â the question was already answered by the disinterest that oozed off of regal features. the empress, being who she wasâ a woman of powerâ did not feel bothered or threatened by such an ability. plus, earthlings tended to show a lack of skill in magik compared to the creatures of gehennam. âand yet people adored you. how distasteful.â
â some do and some do not, â the psychic answers and she gives a tired roll of slim shoulders - drawing into formality, her furisode falls gracefully over slender arms. the woman before her is both beautiful and mighty with a countenance that could turn cities to ash and bring men to their knees in prayer - behind the void of her gaze, a thousand stars are dying a synchronized death. â people revere what they donât understand, â slowly, she continues and fingertips grace the deck of cards at her side, â they glorify even the smallest grasp at something they themselves cannot obtain. â
often times, she wants to reach out and shake them; to tell them that their gods do not live within her old bones, that there is no magic in her belly or the tips of her fingers or her kiss. â but while they faun you seem.. bored. have you really no use for what the future holds? or is it that perhaps you yourself have already run your fingers through the very fabric of time? â despite the womanâs obvious disinterest, kayako extends either hand in her direction and asks politely, â come, sit. â

â If humanity dies, will that really be such a BAD thing? Why fight the inevitable? â
â if humanity dies, you go down with us, â the mage says and her eyebrows pinch together in confusion - ganymede always seems so somber, always talking of things better left unsaid. â besides, isnât it.. in our nature to struggle. you were human once werenât you? â
