Why are some ideas raised in the books?
Answer: simply because i wanted them to stand out and just give a 3d aspect to it. It also helped any smaller versions be more prominent, especially the little blanked word piece i think it gets lost alittle as its on top of more words and having it raised just helps it abit more. 08/06/17

08/06/17 > ive chosen to put my ideas into these books to show the jourmey in which i have been on in my final major and also to show the walks an adventures i have been on as these are usually and typically told in story/book form.
>My pieces are placed on the pages they are, simply because i went split down the middle of the book and it just so happened that it came to the pages about England and Canals ect. Pot luck, i know.
>i never really started out wanting the book pages in the books to link to my work, it just so happened they would in ways, on the day. I suppose they link as my journeys have been in england an mostly walks here also but some photos are from a trip to Inverary, Scotland. Journeys and adventures are perceived through books and stories and in ways, having found the pages on england has helped link my work closer and be more grounded.

Why i have chosen to use some of the methods i have..
In my project i have gone between illustration to a majority of photography. this is because photography is an easy research method as you can just take photos as you go a long, which in my case with doing adventure it is a way of blogging my walks i take throughout the project. illustration has came into it as i wanted to not just have photos, i wanted to have more physical work by doing collage and drawings in different mediums.

took a random trip to a motor show april 23rd where i saw my favourite car, volkswagon 1963 beetle! this relates to my project as my project is on adventure and i took a trip to this. on our way to a place but spied a truck.

The beautiful Glen Orchy Scotland april 16th, on our way to oban we stopped off at glen orchy as it has some beautiful view this being one of them i think out of the adventures ive took this was my favourite as it was so peaceful and untouched here i loved listening to the waterfalls.

april 16th, after a long drive from inverary where we were staying, we arrived in oban where we took a walk along the beach and took a stroll around the local area. i think if the weather was better then i would of enjoyed the walk abit better but i would come here again.

3 night stay in Inveraray Scotland April 15th - 18th
we travelled to Inveraray, Scotland for a 3 night stay in a hotel an spa. we took walks each day through Inveraray, capturing the sunset, collecting shells we thought were pretty. hopefully will be back soon.
