The way they used the weather, the time of the day, that AI voice and the trembling of the building to inform the story is just... wow. I love that kind of storytelling.

The symbolism was superb. 🤌🏾 It’s the way everything was elevated as soon as we got an award-winning writer in the room.

🤭 I thought about this too, and that always made me laugh anyway, because Danai refusing to concede that she’s stubborn made her seem, well… stubborn. 😂

Listen. I got a HEARTY chuckle out of that. And I know some of the girls are mad, but realistically, even if he wanted to ask about the person who betrayed him Daryl, that was not the moment to do it. Like I need them to be for real.

One little touch that was great was we could see rick had quite a few more scars! That man has been in hell these last few years

I noticed that too. In episode 1, I was surprised not to see more noticeable damage from the explosion, so I was glad to see that detail this episode.

It was heartbreaking to see but beautifully done that even when they were in the middle of it, R was still not 100% there there. Still the fear in his eyes… I mean, dude was having a panic attack…

…but also… now that he is back-back I’m gonna need another one of those scenes lol 🤭😂

Given what Danai has said about not doing a sex scene just to do it, I kinda don’t expect much more than what we’ve gotten. And the emotional catharsis of that scene was totally the point, and I get/love that. But YES, I need another one too. It doesn’t have to be full-on coitus, but we were robbed of foreplay and fun, and I want it. Bad.

One thing i never quite got since ep1 is where the consignees sleep and where the military does. Cause we see r in the same apartment the whole time which i find a bit bizarre… giving how separate they keep everything its weird to me that military and consignee are staying in essentially the same building? But also if so… it shouldnt be that hard to sneak m in, no? 👀

All very good questions, my friend. With everything going on now, we probably won’t get those answers, but yeah, I wondered the same.

But I’m here for the sentiment, and I’m kinda glad Michonne gets to be a little reckless. She usually is the calm, collected one, and typically only shifts out of that for Rick, so I’m ready to go on this ride with them.
