not only is cas a jock, as some correct posts have said, but i humbly add to the rewriting fanon cas analysis that he's also NOT smooth or suave, he is fact a terrible flirt and a terrible liar and actually a complete loser. dean finds him hilarious when no one else does, it's canon. he does have this je ne sais quoi that makes people inexplicably attracted to him, but it's not because he's intentional about it. in fact he actually trips into it without even trying. like for god's sake the man can't even wink properly. so basically he's a jock with negative rizz who also dresses like your dad. basically.

I’m sorry but you can’t just officially confirm one half of destiel and then make it seem like its ambiguous for the other,,, dean had a way bigger list of gay crimes than cas like they were BOTH insane about each other and thats how the ship came to be what it is. like I actually thought dean was way more obvious than cas was. You can’t backtrack on only one of them and be like aha he was gay the whole time! And not have me assume the same for the other, like this confession makes you look back at the relationship in its entirety

Beside him, Mary pulls up her shoulders and turns her head fully away to look out the window, brow furrowed. I need everyone to enter the era of understanding that Cas has zero taste or class. He is a blue collar angel and that is literally the whole point. His fuckass pretentious brethren are the ones who like luxury and think they're too good for lowbrow human experiences. The whole POINT is that Cas is different.

Cas likes beer and grape jelly and reality t.v. He is not watching nature documentaries; he's watching 90 Day Fiancé. He does not have a garden; he has 3 potted succulents at BEST and only because Dean takes care of them. He watches porn for the plot. He likes emojis. He's a jock. His most frequently-worn item during his graceless arc was a hoodie. He's kind of a fuckboi.

I genuinely believe seeing a ham and cheese pinwheel at a party would have caused him to wax poetic about human ingenuity.

Dean being stupidly intimate when teaching Cas things

And Cas trying so hard not to read into any of it

Like, if Cas is curious about how to do something, Dean is gonna come up behind him and teach him how to do it in the most romantic way possible

And Cas learns absolutely nothing by the end of it

Meanwhile Dean is trying so fucking hard to make it clear that he's FLIRTING

Or worse

Dean thinks they're dating and is trying to ease Cas into intimacy by being more physically flirty
