i enjoy shamelessly normalizing medications. i enjoy saying things like “give me a couple of hours, my meds haven’t kicked in yet” and “sorry, my meds have worn off and im not feeling great” in normal conversations regardless of the company. ive never met a single person who talks about their medications, and i enjoy just dropping comments that make it seem normal.

I have two tags that I regularly use to talk about my reproductive health and my mental health, #the estrogen is slapping right now and #speaking of not well adjusted respectively, and someone once suggested I could use #maybe she was born with it maybe its body dysmorphia as an eating disorder tag

I just talked with my GP and she seems to be agreeing with my therapist about doing a second intake, she's on board to do anything she needs to do to get me a second intake, and her only condition was that I bring someone with me this time

So, I've been working on writing a letter to my local hospital calling out their staff's approach to mental health

And there's a whole dedicated section for the social worker who rejected me from the eating disorders program

I wanted to talk to the social worker first to ask them questions and give them an opportunity to explain themself before I report them to their employer

The social worker kept putting it off and putting it off

And when the social worker was ready, oops! It was now more than a year since my referral and they could no longer do a meeting with me

If I want a meeting with them, I have to do another intake

My case manager presented it as "do or don't" and my therapist seemed to be leaning towards doing the second intake

I'm going to talk to my GP on Friday and see what she thinks

Ten days ago I gave an update saying everything is fine

Well things have changed fast and I just spent like an hour or two willing myself to get dinner and I've cried a few times in the last few days

I'm gonna be talking to my GP and my case manager on Friday
