I’ve been seeing so many “ugh i hate hockey” or “I don’t like watching hockey anymore” takes just bc of the NHL but are y’all aware there’s more hockey than the NHL? Like, hockey exists outside of the NHL. Who knew

I understand being sick of the NHL as an insitution but the game can still be fun. Watch women’s hockey (SDHL, NWHL on Twitch/Youtube PWHPA games on youtube, WHL, AWIHL on youtube), European men’s hockey (LIIGA, SHL, Germany too but idk if they’re available on the interwebs, or KHL).

It makes me sad to think that Henrik Lundqvist may have played his last game as a New York Ranger and no one appreciated it for what it was worth.

There‘s a Tony DeAngelo parody account on twitter and I‘ve been laughing for an hour now.

Rangers: was around the 2013/14 run my mom is a huge rangers fan but that year watching the rangers just sparked my interest. saw lundqvist make saves and i fell in love with the sport not a day i regret falling in love with this sport

Coyotes and wild: same time i got into hockey i fell in love with the coyotes and wild because of their logos so i’ll always cheer for them when the rangers aren’t in the playoffs!

Riverters: fell in love with women’s hockey about 2017? decided to root for the rivs since they were near new york! still root for them this day can’t wait for the next season!

Notre Dame: dad was an irish fan and my way of honoring him is rooting for them. i also loved watching cale morris during his run hope he gets signed one day!!

Bruins: I didn't watch hockey for forever and when i started back up, during the playoffs I was watching a Leafs/Bruins game and when I asked my dad which team he liked, it basically boiled down to: they have a czech player on it

Jets: im from Atlanta. Rip.

Flyers: after the 18-19 season and how they did the off-season I was curious. Also i have a fish named grity so I figured i might watch them a little and then they grew on me
