Amazon saving tip # 1

If you are like my husband (or you are married to someone like him) then you LOVE to save money.  In fact, you are downright annoyed every time the nice fed ex person drives up the driveway to leave us a treasure that I forgot I had ordered 2 days prior.   If you are like me, shopping is part of your self-care, the happiness I get from both ordering and then receiving said products is indescribable.  I like to shop for everything and I really try to shop locally but the nearest book store is over 30 minutes away so I find myself on the A word a lot to order books that I see in a magazine or on facebook.  Today while I was adding a few books recommended by womens health I noticed there is a button under the product “used from...”, while I wouldn’t use this option for everything it makes so much sense for books.  So happy shopping and remember reading is fundamental

Thoughts and Prayers

I have thought about writing everyday for the last 4 years, I am not sure what has stopped me.  I definitely have excuses...work, kids, life, tiredness, the list goes on but I have also spent the last 2 years hating my life, being mad at my kids, rolling my eyes at my husband, HATING my boss and just living in a state of anxiety, anger, and completed overwhelmedness.   I know I am not alone, writing (and reading) have always allowed me to get out of my own head and into someone else’s.   I am making a commitment to myself that I will write 3 x a week, even if only a few sentences.  I am also dedicating at least 1 blog post a week to a social justice issue.....watch out world...the women are coming!
