Cosmo- So cruel. Why not give a few answers to these questions that rattle us “oldies”?!
I must admit that I still don’t get Snapchat after a few weeks of exploration. I am usually pretty good with technology so this has been painful. I have been trying to figure it out without asking for help, but I am officially throwing up my hands. This is what I need to know, so help a mid-30’s girl out please! (And, uh, let’s not mention that we had this conversation😉)
1) So when I get a snapchat, how do I know if it was just sent to me or published to all the sender’s friends? This is important because I don’t know if I am supposed to reply or not.
2) I don’t get stories: a) How do I see my own story? b&c) Are stories are just for one day? And people can’t see them until the end of the day or the next day? I don’t understand. 😩
3) Friends: I have all these friends, but I think I only know some of them. a) Is Snapchat like Twitter where people can just follow you without you following them? b) What if I want my posts to be private, but I want all my friends to see them? I think I set up my privacy setting for this, but then I have “friends” all of a sudden and I don’t know who they are. I don't think I approved them, but I guess it's possible. I set up the account a while ago but am just now using it.
4) I’ve heard you can follow celebrities and such. a) How do you do this? b) Where can you find them? c) Who is fun/ entertaining to follow?
I have more questions but these are the most pressing. Any advice for this not-so-old “oldie”. :P

Just landed back in DFW, after an amazing trip to Puerto Rico. Words can't describe how much I needed this trip and how wonderful every moment of it was. We were only there 4 nights, but it was the perfect amount of fun, culture and adventure. Being able to go with two of my closest friends made it all the more special. This is one I'll remember for a while. Enjoy the pictures! I don't have a picture of the whale, but the highlight was definitely seeing a humpback whale on the way back from Culebra! It was the most awe-inspiring thing that I have ever seen. Absolutely breathtaking!
