Ragatha My Beloved

Rewatching the new digital circus ep, and my god. Ragatha is clearly left out emotionally, but by her own doing. She's acting off her truama responses.

THIS IS MY HEADCANNON !!!!

NOT A HATE POST JUST APPRECIATION :3

FIrst, ragatha doesn't drop her happy attitude. Even if she cracks, she settles back into it. Immediately its represented when ragatha tries cheering up a rattled pomni. She fails and becomes uncomfortable

Once kinger asks for help for a nonsense reason, she agree's and acts like pomni isnt a fish out of water. Not caring and putting back on her safe place appearance.

But whatever thats easy to see, even jax picks up on it.

btw TO ME it looks like pomni looked to the right for ragatha but she left :( Pomni is trying to be her friend.

Moving on, when Ragatha describes the last adventure to the group, shes ashamed by her actions. She makes herself smaller as if she's being scolded at. Most likely though, she just doesn't want to remember the situation all together.

Another quick scene of her character. Ragatha exclaims that she trusts pomni to cut the right wire. But once shes threatened she stops encouraging her into a facade of happiness. THIS PART MADE ME INSPIRED TO WRITE THIS

SO. FIRST. JAX IS SMART AF.

I, me, and myself, believe jax set up many of the situations to show Pomni, Ragathas true colors. He is her #1 hater after all and vice versa.

The only interactions between the two is set in stone. Resentment and Pride. Jax creates chaos for reactions. Ragatha steps in to feel better about herself. Cycle continues. Both believe they are better than the other. So far, they've never opened their mindsets around one another.

Moving foward. Jax genuinely asked pomni if people can change, and how it could happen. But ragatha walks in to scold him for being curious. She wasn't apart of the conversation, and jax wasn't aware she was listening. He responds to her taunts with a joke since he doesn't take her seriously. But when pomni asks a meaningful question, he considers answering, but refrains because ragatha is present. To add salt to the wound, she answers pomnis second question. She knowingly knew that topic would make him upset. Yet is shocked when she is called out. Then, she quickly leaves after an intruding entrance.

During the intermission, both gangle and ragatha are smushed by cake. Maybe highlighting their fragile personas.

Ok i lied this is why im writing this at 3 am

LISTEN CLOSELY-

The bar scene truly represents ragathas isolation from the group.

First, not understanding the breaking bad reference but thats lightwork.

Ragatha and kinger enter together, not sure why. Maybe royalty symbolism?

They both shoot their order at zooble and enter the conversation.

The group goes around sharing their lives. Jax asks pomni. Zooble asks jax and gangle. Finally jax acknowldges kinger by excluding him. The only person who wasn't acknowledged was Ragatha. She had to talk to herself into the topic. Sadly during her chance to open up, she describes her traumatic past vividly. Creating a thick atmosphere.

I don't believe ragatha intentionally is rude and insensitive. She most likely was brought up this way by her mother. Her survival instincts are intact even if she knows she cant get back home. (who knows?) Still, she brings her homelife to the digital circus using her mindset. I don't know if she will change nor do I want her to. Ragatha's characteristics are one's ive experienced, human. She is struggling to bring down the other members. They instead are choosing to grow.

Ultimately, ragatha is stuck in her mindset. Everyone else is changing and she unable to fit in. Truly a lonely eternity. I WOULD FINISH BUT I HAVE CLASS TMR MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFETIME

Remember "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" ? I feel like there's been a distancing from the "reduce" and "reuse" part and a favoritism towards "recycle" by corporate American.

Capitalism can still thrive with recycling in the mix. You buy Plastic Thing 1, throw it away after one use, and they take that and recycle it into Plastic Thing 2 and sell it back to you. All while continuing to harm the environment.

Reusing puts a damper on things. They can't sell you Plastic Thing 2 when you're still using Plastic Thing 1. Plastic forks, for example- there is literally no reason why you can't reuse plastic forks more than once (aside from maybe microplastics, but it's too late for that)

Reducing is the one everyone wants to ignore. Just don't buy Plastic Thing 1. You don't need Plastic Thing 1. Pick up a set of metal forks and use those for years. Convenience is killing the planet
