If I were you i would use a carpet cleaner, can you rent one near you? Like a carpet shampooer.

If you can't do that, I'm not positive this will work with THIS MUCH POOP but I would first clean up all the chunks, and then I would get a scrub brush and some nice smelling soap and warm water and scrub and scrub and scrub and pat it as dry as I could with a towel and then I would pour like several boxes of baking soda all over it, spray lightly with vinegar, let it dry completely and then vacuum it up. And then I would take a dry scrub brush to it, to knock any remaining baking powder lose, and then vacuum again.

It looks like it's not super shaggy carpet so you have that going for you at least.

I need to cut the nails on Cora's last paw except after quicking her last time I'm scared and I'm sure she will be too.

Why are you thinking about getting a second dog when you can't even pay the vet bills for the first one right now? Don't get me wrong I know that they can mount up but if you're having to ask for help for the first ones vet bills then it seems pretty irresponsible to be thinking about a second one.

I mean.. I've been thinking about a year from now, minimum. It's just fun to think about. Doesn't pretty much all of dogblr fantasize in some way about their next dog? But I can't have a second dog in my current rental, and yeah, the vet bills. I'm not stupid. But good on you for making assumptions.

😭😣😖 she bled so much. I felt so bad. I wrapped it in gauze and then when it bled through that I stuffed it in corn meal and that worked. I heard it would bleed badly if you quicked it but that was extreme

Here, have some happy Cora stories since everything I post about her has been sad lately:

On rainy mornings when she gets wet, she sits on the back of the couch where the heat vent blows warm air to get warm and dry again. She can't handle being breathed on. If she's dead asleep and I roll over and my breath hits her, she's awake and moving away from me in 30 seconds. When she's deeply happy to see you she'll grunt and groan, and if you groan back she'll be thrilled, because you just said "I love you" in her own language.

Cora’s X-rays! I have no idea how to read them but there ya go. I think her rib cage is aesthetically pleasing.

I don’t know how or if I’m supposed to tag these so shoot me an ask if you need them tagged a certain way.

If I paid for an X-ray of Cora’s kidneys (and other things) but the kidneys were what I was really wanting to know about, and they didn’t tell me to fast her or anything, and they couldn’t see her kidneys because there was stuff in her colon, do I have any capacity to ask them to do the X-rays again at no or low cost because they didn’t actually get the results I paid for?
