**Humanitarian Support Request: Abdul Salam Al-Anqar**

Hello, I am Abdul Salam Al-Anqar, 26 years old, married to Aya Al-Batniji and I have a little girl named Iman who is (1 year old).

My family consists of seven members: my mother Iman (49 years old), my father Ahmed (54 years old), and my brothers Mohammed (14 years old), Nader (17 years old), and Omar (21 years old).

Due to the devastating war in the Gaza Strip, our homes were completely destroyed and became uninhabitable. We were forced to flee to the south, and we are searching for safety, as we were displaced more than 9 times, suffering from harsh conditions. We suffer from severe shortages of water and food, and my daughter suffers from malnutrition due to the high prices of food and its scarcity, in addition to the closure of the crossings and the ongoing siege.

I used to work as a car technician, but my workplace was completely destroyed. We are now in dire need of collecting donations to finance our travel to a safe country. The cost of travel is between $6000 and $7000, which is a huge amount that we cannot afford.

gonna make a better post when i finally regain the strength to do so but ive been in and out of the hospital with multiple organ issues that almost ended my life and will be keeping me out of working until in recover from a surgery im supposed to have in a few weeks to remove my problem organ. I cannot afford the multiple er visits and surgeries they had and have to do to keep me alive. I already live below poverty line in a red state and theres no more work from home jobs since "covid is over" and im stuck unable to work with a bag and tubes stitched into my body and limiting my movement. Im so tired all the time. i cant even pick up my cat. I'm not in a working state.

Life has been really scary these past few weeks and ive been trying to stay positive but i dont even know how im going to begin to afford these medical bills on top of my normal ones when i cant even look for a job until ive healed from a surgery that hasnt happened yet... sorry this is a lot longer than i meant for it to be but if anyone has any spare change they can send my way id really appreciate it, even a few dollars helps and adds up and has a big impact for me in my situation.

Oday and his family, including his 7 year old sister, witnessed the unspeakable. His sister's husband's family was bombed in their tent, and they witnessed the bodies torn apart when they went to rescue possible survivors. The shock overtook him completely. I don't think any one of us could survive such a sight, finding our family members torn to pieces by the world's apathy and complicity.

tbh i don't think people really understand how dire the water situation is in the west bank. the last time i was in palestine, i could only shower once a month. ONCE A MONTH. we simply did not have enough water to sustain my whole family, because israel controls palestinians' water supply and does not give us enough to sustain ourselves in the long run. plus the water isn't very clean so it was very easy to get sick all the time. when we say that "palestinians drink more olive oil than water", it's not genuinely such a silly hyperbole as you might think.
