the original "deal" was: tenna distracts passersby long enough for spamton to scam or steal from them, and in return tenna gets repairs from spamton (with the bonus of spamton acting as tenna's eyes sometimes since his vision is wack with a broken screen).

leading up to this comic, a human got into a fight with tenna so spam didn't get to steal anything from them. tenna then hates himself for it (he doesn't care as much about the damage as he does thinking he might've ruined the only relationship he has anymore) and spam gets his shit together to repair the guy without thinking twice about it. you let your guard down ONE time and the tv guy makes you question all that you stand for smh
