Microphone- It is use for voiceover and announcing. Also it can make the speaker’s voice louder and clearer.

The functions of a mixer are actually quite simple; all you are doing is combining a few channels of signal into one or more outputs. Truly ICT today plays a big impact in communication media today. Today's generation cannot find their happiness without any gadgets in their pocket. They feel comfortable whenever they are browsing on their different social networking sites. People always want to know what's new. People always want to express their own ideas and feelings by posting. Communication media is important to us because it has been become a part of our daily lives. Without communication media, we're not able to talk on our relatives and friends in different country. Communication media makes our work easier. Nowadays, we treat gadgets as one of our basic necessities. Smartphones is the best example for that. I am giving you an example. Each and everyone of us is very excited in Miss Universe 2017. All of us are watching in our television. We are very focus to see who's reigning as Miss Universe 2017. Television is a device also we use for communication and it is use to disseminate information and news. So the long wait is over. After the question and answer portion, the judges has decided whose winning. And it's Ms. France. People immediately get their smartphones to post their opininons about the Miss Universe. Some are bashing our representative and some are congratulating here for making it until the top 6. They has their own concern regarding the pageant. For me, the impact of ICT in communication today become dangerous. People say what they want to say without thinking. For always, media tells us not what to think but what to think about. Media practitioners use television as the means of delivering information to the larger number of people

BLOG NO.3 ICT’s Positive and Negative Impacts

People nowadays always depend theirselves in using technologies to make their more easy to do. Using Information and Communication Technology has its positive side but also have its negative impacts to us. Here are some of the positive and negative effects of ICT:

Society:

               One of the greatest effect of ICT to us is having a more access to information by using Internet. Anywhere you can browse to your Facebook without any payment to think. It happens because of the Free data access. Using ICT also can help us to communicate with people around the world, and obtain goods from different part of the world. Facebook also helps us in our daily needs. How? By simply creating an online store. Busy people always use Facebook as means of getting news and information because they have no time in watching television or reading newspapers. Another positive effect of it is, we can help to our environment. Instead of writing a meesage to a paper, people choose to send it online via email. Ofcourse, ICT has negative effect also. And it has something to do with our personal interaction. Most of the time, people tend to choose online communication rather than having a real time conversation.

               ICT helps us to our work more easy. That’s why we always depend on the technologies around us. Also it can helps us in doing our homewroks and projects. It can also be means of entertainment by simply watching funny videos. When we are bored, we always choose to browse on our internet. But it has also a bad effect to ourselves. Technologies teach us to become lazy. Instead of reading books, we always choose to find it on Google/Internet because it is more easy to access. ICT has a bad effect also to our health. Spending more time infront of a computer can harm us. It can damage our eyes because of the radiation that we get in the computer.

               Internet Technologies such as chat rooms and Skype has a capability to hold meetings using a conference call with all your business partners without being physically present in one place. Internet also helps us to send emails and letters without travelling and costing too much for the fare. But technologies might also bring us in damage to our work. Spams messages can cause negative impact to our business. Brick and mortar also has a bad effect. Smaller stores are finding more and more difficult to compete with both Internet businesses and larger retail stores. For example, small community bookstores must compete with Amazon.com as well as large stores such as Barnes & Noble that sell in person and online. Sometimes the smaller stores end up going out of business.

BLOG NO.2 Softwares and Hardwares

          Most of us depends theirselves in using techonologies. Yes, technology can help us in all matters of our life. May of us cannot live without bringing any gadgets in his/her pocket. Mobile phones is the best example for that. Using this, we can get informations and news. Ofcourse with the help of softwares that can be downloaded like Facebook. Technologies can help us to make our work easier. Here is the 5 examples of software that i usually used everyday.

Microsoft office- Microsoft office can be used in doing different projects and presentations. Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint is just part of this software that I used most of the time. Word for creating text documents and PowerPoint for making multimedia presentation or slideshow.

Youtube- Youtube is a website that allows people to watch videos. Also you can share or post your videos here if you want. You can also rate the video you watch, whether you like or dislike it. Different types of videos such as documentaries or simply the movies that has been shown in the cinema can be seen in Youtube.

McAfee- McAfee is a  program that prevents a virus to enter your computer because it might cause damages in your files and documents. Whenever you plug a flashdrive to your computer, this software scanned it first to make sure that your device is not having any virus.

Merriam webster- It is a mobile applications that mostly used by students. Merriam webster is a dictionary helps us to search unknown words. I used this software when I am having difficulties in understanding some english words.

Facebook- Most of us, always used Facebook. Even at your mobile phones, you can download Facebook for more easy access. This software helps us to reach our friends or loved ones that live in a different country.

HARDWARES

Keyboard- Keyboard is one of the primary device and it is usually use by many of us. Keyboards allow you to input letters, numbers, and other symbols into a computer that can serve as commands or be used to type text.

Mouse- A mouse is a handheld hardware that control a cursor to move and select a text, files, icons, folders or whatever display you see in the monitor.

Printer- It is an external hardware output device that is conneced to the computer or other device to generates a hard copy of your files. Printers are commonly used to print text documents and images.

Projector- It is an output device that show a presentation on a large white screen so that everyone in the room can see it. We usually use projectors in reporting and presenting some informations to our classmates/teachers.

LCD/Monitor- A device that allows to display images and videos. A monitor is made up of screen, power button settings and case that holds all of these components.

- Information is the character or subject you represent to obtain communication. It can be in form of verbal or non-verbal message.

B. Communication

- Communication is a process of exchanging ideas and opinions in one person to another.

C. Technology

- It is the machineries or industrial equipments that makes the work more easier.

2. How the three (Information, Communication, and Technology) are inter-related?

- Information, Communication and Technology are inter-related by the means of passing information. Cellular phones, Computers, Telephones are all part of our technology. By this technologies, you can pass your message easily. It is more convenient to use to our loved ones in abroad. By that, through technology, you can form a communication. 3. Why the transition to knowledge society is important? Also include the disadvantages.

- Transition to knowledge society is important because somehow society has a big part in moulding our behaviour and attitude. We might adapt what society is showing to us. Aside from family, society also helps the children to gain their self-confidence in doing what they love or to show their talents to others. But also, it has disadvantage. Some of the children cannot easily cope up to their surroundings. It might result to low self-esteem.
