It's here guys, my very own Far Cry New Dawn OC! She's a fucking riot and very different from Danny, much more certain of what she's doing and LOVES to punch people.

She's got a soft spot for the Ryes, Sharky and Ethan Seed for different reasons (the Ryes are a beautiful family she wants to protect, Sharky's a cool funny dude she wants to hang out with, Ethan and her feel Similar Fury Against Fathers) and she spends a lot of time with Judge!Danny.

Timber is absolutely her favorite partner in rebellion, and she brings him everywhere which brings some painful memories to Judge!Danny when he's around.

The Gospel's devotion to Joseph is born out of love, but his role and years as a cultist have molded him into a cruel, manipulative, bitter man that will give his life to The Father while being emotionally tortured by that same man.

Danny loves Joseph and The Father, but those aren't the same person. For 7 years, Danny had Joseph all to himself but soon The Father reappeared... and only one of them treats Danny like an equal.

In this AU, Danny has slowly changed the Seed siblings's lives for the better with his caring and stubborn nature, and through John's perspective we see the love and strength he can inspire.

If you need to find The Father and he doesn't seem to be anywhere in New Eden, consider walking through the nearest path of flowers, look for a secluded place underneath the trees, you might find him there but he careful, you'll most certainly find The Judge keeping him company; and if for some reason you find yourself curious and stay hidden for a bit, you might witness The Father offering a hand to the other as if asking them to join him in sitting on the grass. Of course, The Judge complies: they'll sit behind The Father and although it may be surprising to you, it'll be second nature for The Judge to gently untie their leader's hair and carefully brush calloused fingers through long hair, eventually braiding the past-shoulder-length strands as The Father quietly medidates, a hand resting on The Judge's knee. Fascinated, you're privy to the way flowers are woven into the braid and how The Father turns after it's done, youth returned to him as he tenderly pulls The Judge closer, taking off their mask just so they comfortably hide their face in The Father's neck.

And even to you, who knows only what The Father tells you, the way The Judge relaxes into The Father's embrace feels too intimate to observe. Perhaps your matters can wait a little while. New Eden's protector needed The Father now, more than you do.

the first image happens in-game, the other two happen after so that's why Danny's sporting his New Dawn look (he absolutely saved his cowboy hat from The Collapse)

Faith's kiss happens after Danny gets worried about her, when he shows that concern and kisses her out of relief, she starts to cry. It reminds her of people that betrayed her and left her, how they wished her ruin and Danny's genuine nature's a bit too much for her sometimes

John and Danny have a LOT of unresolved tension and complicated feelings about each other, which includes being pissed off and working on it by kissing stupid

Joseph's very happy that Danny has accepted to take the Seed name so he gets a gentle, loving kiss as a reward

Exhausted beyond belief, he squeezes his eyes shut and attempts to breathe deeper, slower; his forearms burn horribly, recently carved and angry against the soft fabric of his shirt but any vow that's worth anything comes with pain, that he knows intimately.

In the silence of a still unfamiliar kitchen his struggle seems all the more shameful, and when he sets himself back to the task its harsh lighting reflects on the small knife he's holding in his shaking hands- experience tells him it won't stop, no. If there was ever a moment in his life that he didn't feel so impotent, his tight grip and dexterity amounting to nothing right before his eyes, he couldn't remember it.

But it used to be easier, his treacherous mind provides, offering him a quick peek inside the precariously sealed box of his memories.

He scoffs at himself, frustrated again at the amount of fruit he cut with the peel; if he kept at it like this, there would be no goddamn apple left. Invested, he tightens his grip and ignores the sharp pain in his knuckles, powering through his annoyingly shaky hands as he finally gets to finish the apple in a long peel. Aha! "Do we have mango?" a sweet voice enters the kitchen, Daniel shakes his head while cutting fruit into small pieces. "We don't, but I'm cutting some apple for you, baby." He smiles at the sound of excited approval, turning with the small bowl to put it in front of his adorable little sister. She's getting so big, he feels so old in comparison. She shares the sentiment. "That's 'cause you are. Very old. Ancient." she teases him. He makes an offended noise, crossing his arms and looking away. "That so? You cut your own fruit then." he obviously bluffs. "No, no- I take it back, you're not old, Dan." she pouts, dropping a piece. "Tastes better when you do it!" It's kid-bullshit, but it works on him like a charm. He's grinning when he asks a conspiratory "What about Mom?" "Yours is better." she maintains, sincere in her favoritism of him and he doesn't feel all that bad about how smug he feels about it. He comes around the table, booping her nose and telling her to eat the rest of her apple before using the hair band in his wrist to gently contain her golden mane in a wonky ponytail. "I'll always cut your fruits, baby, don't worry. I'll be there at your wedding, cutting mangos for you." She laughs and happily accepts his offer. He loves her so much.

Daniel almost scoffs at himself, his vision blurred by those same predictable tears, but he doesn't move to wipe his cheeks clean when they run down. A knife in his hand when he's thinking of the past has never ended well for him, but he remains paralyzed by the aching in his chest for what feels like hours but were only minutes at best.

But he digs deep down, at the center of that long lost love and claws at the viscera for his anger- it pulsates through his veins, drying his eyes and steeling his resolve and he wonders how had he forgotten this feeling, given up on it?

If not for Joseph... he would've lost himself. To that helplessness, this fucking heartache. But this man, his savior. The Father saw him.

The Father wants him.

Much calmer he gently drags the sleeves of his shirt across his face, then focuses on completing his task, pleased when he finds it much more efficiently done, his shaking diminished. Soon there's a bowl of cut fruit in Daniel's hands as he makes his way back through the dark and knocks softly on the door to Jacob's room, waiting for his consent to enter the space and offer him his company as they go through another sleepless night.

It doesn't bother him much, neither lost sleep nor the pain of testing his faith. He'll do anything. Anything for The Father.
