You finish the jacket yet?” “Lorna’s doing the jacket for me. I can’t set sleeves without making Ms. Kindergrubber cry.”

can we talk about how in Way to Wonderland, when the “White Knight” defeated the Red Knight and everyone was like “wowwwow this guy is great!!!!” Darling almost LITERALLY pulled her helmet off like

You know, I really do like the Chase and Darling relationship. Not as romantic (though to each their own), but as one of camaraderie. In a heteronormative society, I think it’s important to show that men and women don’t have to be attracted to each other and that they can form different types of relationships other than romantic, especially ones built on mutual respect.

I love how, after this moment, Chase bows to Darling as an obvious sign of respect for her skill and she extends the same courtesy. (While we’re at it, let’s notice how she chooses to curtsy, not bow, like a lady. She’s a shining example that a girl can still be a “lady” and be strong, respectful, valiant, etc. as a knight.) I also like that you can see how delightfully surprised Chase is to find that Darling is a girl. I like to think he has a personal hope for equality in knighthood, especially if Wonderland is at all as conservative as Ever After, which they must be to some degree because we know that they still continue their fairytale stories in a traditional and exact manner.

I hope that Ever After High continues this relationship in future webisodes or specials (or even BTS where we only hear Darling speak about it), and in the direction it seems to be heading. I would be disappointed if they didn’t.

 "No, this is the ninth Doctor Boo, played by Crystopher Eekleston. In this regeneration he's a Dark Elf. The first Doctor Boo was William Heartknell, an incubus." 

 "I thought you said we were starting at the beginning." 

"This is the beginning of the modern series...just go with it." 

 "So that's Annie Pondwater? ...Why are you laughing?"

 "That's not Annie, that's Rose Channing. She's a werewolf. Annie travels with the eleventh Doctor."

 "This is complicated."

 "You don't have to watch Doctor Boo because I do, Lagoona. We have other stuff. I can watch Doctor Boo with Lorna, Deuce and Twyla. Just like you watch Feral Banks Next Top Model with the ghouls."

 "NO! I mean...I want to be involved in the things you like." 

 "Okay. If you're sure..."

It’s about a changeling ghost who travels through time in a time machine shaped like a normal scaraphone booth, with monster assistants. Annie Pondwater was my favourite, played by Kara Killem, she was the first freshwater assistant!” “I don’t think Gil watches it.” “Sure he does! We were talking about going to a con dressed as Annie and the Eleventh Doctor Boo!”
