Is possible that the child ritual that is mentioned in Chain of Iron it wasn’t performed on Jesse Blackthorn because Tatiana refused/was drive by revenge against shadowhunters/or was coerced by old pacts of her father with demons and instead she put some dark spells on him. That will be an explanation for why Jesse was such a sick kid and couldn’t bear runes and also how Tatiana was already prepared in eventuallity of his death.

I know this was noticed before but I still wonder if Lilith will have a role in resurrecting Jesse and also if Lucie will invoke her grandfather Belial because in his illustration is mentioned the Black Volume of Dead.
