Charles is the type to yell "oh fuck!" over something totally minor, causing Edwin to drop whatever he's doing and rush over in a panic. Only for him to be extremely annoyed when he finds out Charles just dropped something.

Edwin, meanwhile, is the type to be like, "Charles, I require your assistance please." Sounding as calm and collected as ever. And when Charles calls, "yeah, be right there mate!", Edwin says, "rather urgently!" Still barely raises his voice. Charles comes around the corner and Edwin is doing the ghost equivalent of actively bleeding out.
