Last night I had a little less than an hour to paint each canvas live on stage while @philwhickam lead worship. I also had to use all brushes and no spray paint. While brushes are not my preference, I did find the whole experience extremely prayerful. I think it was the fact that I was forced to slow down with brushes causing me to reflect on the music and the moment differently than I normally would when using cans. Live painting for the Come Alive conference in San Diego. Had to use brushes on this one. Happy with the outcome but the process is so much more fun with spray paint. It was cool to do this design for the kids here. Everyone drew these flowers as a kid. I even heard kids talking about how they drew them. So it's a cool direct link showing them what they are doing now and what it could be with a brush and adding color and artistic flare. Hoping it inspires some of these kiddos to push further with their art. Interior house paint on a 7x10 canvas. #art #inspire #acrylic #design
