Update

Hey, for anybody wondering, this blog has been remade at @camisolecutey !

It’s currently a sideblog of my main, @boyshortbeauty, so I’ll follow back from there if I haven’t already.

i’m going to remake this blog as a sideblog. 

however, it feels bad having to delete this blog to make way for a new one (considering it was my first serious debut to the DBZ rpc), so im keeping it as an archive of my present growth. 

will announce the url of the new camie blog soon.

So then, what? Was she stuck here if there wasn’t a way to get her back to where she belonged, just a stranger decades in the future? If it was such a risk to get back to the correct timeline, then why try at all? She was so lost, both metaphorically and literally, and it hurt. But, if this is the situation she was put in then she could adapt, she always had before. She sighed softly, placing her head in her hand.

“So I’m stuck then, if there’s no guarantee, right?” She asked one more time, then shook her head as if not wanting an answer. “Where am I now? I’ve never seen this planet before, at least not in person.”

“Essentially...time travel’s a lot trickier than it seems to be, judging from my past experiences and all that..so yeah, not a guarantee, and you’re definitely stuck if we don’t get the right coordinates.”

She perks up at the next question, and answers, “Right! So the place we’re in at the moment is Earth. More specifically, West City. But I guess you won’t really care about that since you guys care about are the planets, right?”

“They still might try, there’s one thing about all Time Machines that make the Time Patrol paranoid. And that’s that, with the right coordinates, they can be transported right to Conton. That’s why we’re lucky so few timelines actually have them, it reduces risk. A broken one can be fixed, they’re stubborn these demons. If it benefits them, they’ll make it work.” He explained, eyes occasionally darting around as if he thought he might’ve seen something. That feeling of being watched had been very quietly settling over him this whole time, he was hoping it was only just a feeling.

“Not to be annoying, but how much further?”

“Just a couple of miles left. I could go a bit faster, but I don’t wanna lose ya when guiding you over there. Unless you know the way anyway, and save me some trouble of slowing down?”

“A—A what???” The heck was a time-whimey situation; didn’t take long for her to find out but it still didn’t make any sense. How could she be in the future, 50 to 60 years in the future?! Surely that couldn’t be possible, but she didn’t seem to be joking.

“Wh—how do I get back then?! You have to know a way!”

“Well...we’ve got time machines in hand. I could drop you off to your time so as long as you give us the correct year, and we’ll leave you there. Can’t change history for you, however. It might prevent my mom’s and I’s existence.”

“But then,  it’s also a long shot. Because time travels works with the multiverse process, I just might drop you off somewhere where another you exists. And we can’t have that. Not unless you want a twin.”

“Because it’s likely those will be the main targets. If they’re here for anything it’s gotta be tied to those time machines.” Zen answered. “Usually the guys that do this kind of stuff have something relating to time and such, it’s almost always involved in one way or another.”

“Gotcha. Time machines basically cause trouble. If anything, it’s probably going to be a good thing that my time machine’s kapoot. They certainly won’t try to steal an old and broken one, and we can always fix it to trail after them.”

“Ohhhh…” he sounded in awe of the concept. “That sounds absolutely delightful!! I’m so in.” He purred happily at the thought. “I’ve been told I sometimes eat like one, so that’s perfect!”

“Well~” she teases, “Let’s hope that it can handle us both! Halfies like me tend to cause a huge disruption with the food business and all, and since you say that you eat like one...”

“I reeeeaaaaally like tacos,” Glacier stated, his tail waving lightly behind him. “The Mexican foods are absolutely marvelous. And meat is delicious. I was raised a vegetarian, but I can’t help myself around a good beefy taco.”

“Well, I know a great place for tacos. It’s a Mexican buffet! Basically, you just pay to get in, and then it’s all you could eat for however long you want! It’s basically a Saiyan’s best friend if you really think about it.”

The compliment made her get a little flustered, scratching her cheek and chuckling. “Th-thank you…and well, when you spend a lot of time going through timelines, and being alone, you tend to make techniques that’ll help you in your next scuffle. Or at least, that’s what I do.” She quickly whispered the part about being lonely, as she didn’t want to end her ‘cool’ moment so abruptly. “But if the smoke keeps coming out, I’ll keep doing that to quickly get rid of it so you can work!” The Earthling gave the girl an assuring smile.

“Right, I’ll get to work on that right away! Might need to use all of my braincells and power to fix this thing before I have to leave. If I stay any longer-”

She shudders, and continues fixing her spot, “-someone’s bound to notice me. And this hair makes it hard to blend in!”

That was all a little complicated to follow, but one thing stood out in particular: Her grandfather. “Did…did you say the Prince of all Saiyans? He survived the planet’s destruction? But how…? And you said he was your grandfather, he wouldn’t be old if the planet has only been destroyed for almost a decade…” She held her head, feeling like her brain was being tied up in knots. Poor thing didn’t understand what was going on. “I’m so confused…”

“Oh no...a timey-wimey situation again.”

She sighs, and holds her hands out. “You’re way too into the future. Planet Vegeta’s been destroyed for around 50 to 60 years now! Grandpa’s like pushing into his sixties at the moment, my mom’s in her forties, and I’m 18. Little bro’s 12. You come from a time when Mom hasn’t existed yet!”

“Well, every little bit helps in this situation. Whether it be by physical means or not.” He’d sigh, looking around and sensing the area. It felt normal for the most part but something was surely off, he just couldn’t tell what. “Hey, quick question. How many time machines did you guys have again?”

“It would be around two. My old one, and a new one my grandma keeps in possession in case my mom comes in barreling from the future again. Why’s that, exactly?”

“If they know about it they could’ve prevented that from happening…” It was frustrating to hear that, but at least it wasn’t her tail gone. She wasn’t wanting to part with that any time soon. “What do you mean by that? If you’re a hybrid then you’re Saiyan mixed with something else, a human correct?”

“Right, let me explain things a bit. See, my grandfather was the Prince of all Saiyans, but he had a fling with my grandma decades ago that resulted in my mom, so she’s half Saiyan/half human. And then my dad was also a kid between a Saiyan man and a human woman, so he’s also half Saiyan/half human. Only difference was that his parents were already married, but my grandparents on my mom’s side got married like much later.”

“So essentially I’m also a hybrid, but I’m only a hybrid because my parents are hybrids as well. I don’t know if it’s still half and half or some other different percentage.”

“Lead the way.” He’d nod. “I’m sorry for dropping that on you, I would’ve be able to tell you sooner but there was a delay. Whoever is causing this wants us out of it, getting the coordinates for this timeline was tedious to say the least. Have you been noticing anything weird going on recently?”

“I haven’t seen anything on my end. But possibly my parents or my grandpa have noticed, or maybe it’s just the calm before the storm.”

She purses her lips for a moment before answering, “And I’m not quite sure if I would be much help towards fighting this threat. I’m only up to Super Saiyan 2, in that case.”

“She was pretty nice once we stopped insulting each other.” Xue rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “She won all those rounds. But at least she doesn’t act like I’m gonna blow anyone up.”

“Yeah, that’s definitely her alright. She says she’s mellowed down, but it seems like she still kind of retains her overall grumpiness and all that. Even though she looks like a total nerd.”

She perked up. “So what kind of a job did my mom give you?”

    speed wasn’t a problem, as expected she was quick to close the gap between them. arms cross against his chest to absorb the blow, quick to retaliate with a firm kick the side. not hard of course, regardless of what he’d said he had no intentions of hurting her. 

     ❝  you’re focusing too much on your hands, you have four limbs use them! ❞

“What?! So I’m supposed to do this?!”

She tries to land a sweeping kick on the older man, much to her unsurprising failure. 

“I’ve only ever used my two arms! You know kicks aren’t my strongest point!”

She was certainly very expressive, something she found common in people her age; she also seemed perfectly okay with admitting she enjoyed doing dumb things around the area, strange. Even more strange was what she said about her tail.

“You—You what??” She was both confused and horrified by the thought. “But…but that’s so cruel! Why would Saiyan parents do that; that’s like cutting off a finger at birth!”

“I don’t know! Theirs got cut off at birth, too! Something about preventing us from going “full ape every month or so”. Considering that my parents aren’t fully Saiyan either...they both have human moms, and then they had me, so I’m a hybrid as well, but not in the way you’d think.”

“Told ya people would like it! ” He laughed. “While I would like to talk about more casual things I’m afraid I’ve come here for something other than just a nice visit. There might been an issue in this timeline; The Time Nest has been buzzing about some sort of demonic energy resonating here. I figure it might have something to do with you guys, or rather your time machines. Call it a hunch, but someone may be lurking to use them for something, I just don’t know what.”

“Yikes. Better let you inside the lab for that. My time machine’s gone kapoot for like weeks now, so it’s not usable at the moment, but you can check if there’s any new ones being unused.”
