Behind the Frame: Art is the Noblest Pleasure

Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.

As a side project, I’ve developed an art initiative via Instagram called Behind the Frame. It explores the stories behind different works of art, delving into the history of their artists and any fun facts about these famous paintings and sculptures. AU: Hermione Granger is a bold NYU student who’s ready to help anyone in need and Draco Malfoy is a sarcastic, self righteous musician. They meet through the common goal of making Luna Lovegood, the one person who brings out the best in both of them, happy. Luna has been diagnosed with an early-onset of Alzheimer and her doctors have now informed her emergency contacts, Hermione (her friend) and Draco (her cousin) that her case has worsened and if she doesn’t want treatment, she needs to be taken care of. For the summer these clashing personalities live together in Luna’s cottage by the shore to support her in her final months trying to make the best out of these difficult times and with Looney Luna it’s gonna be a ride to remember.
