Campark ACT74 Review: Modest Budget Action Cam
The $55 Campark Xtreme 1+ ACT47 is a low-priced GoPro-alternative action camera that can record 4K video and shoot time-lapse and burst photos. It also comes with a large assortment of handy accessories. But like others of its kind, this basic action camera suffers from underwhelming performance when recording video while on the move. But overall, footage shot during the day is good enough to make this a passable first action camera for kids.
Design
Similar to other off-the-shelf action cameras available on Amazon, the Xtreme 1+ is an inexpensive knockoff of older GoPro models. Compared with the budget Akaso EK7000 and Drograce WP350 cameras, the Campark Xtreme’s buttons are in different locations: The power/menu button is on the front at the bottom right, while the other models have it on the front toward the top of the camera. Additionally, directly under the lens, there’s a light sensor to help the camera get the best auto-exposure as well as an LED light that can be turned on in the menu for night shooting.
Other buttons include a shutter that starts and stops recording, takes photos and acts as the select button while in the settings menu. A mode button on the front lets you cycle through video, photo, burst and time-lapse modes as well as settings. Holding this button down for a second or two powers the camera on and off. On the right side are a pair of buttons that cycle through options in the settings and turn on the Wi-Fi. They also act as a digital zoom in the photo and video modes. Know more…

Design & Build Quality
The ACT74 action camera is made of tough and sturdy plastic, which is impressive, considering such a low price tag. Like most other action cameras in the budget range, its design is inspired by older GoPro models.
On the back of the action camera is the 2-inch LCD screen, which sadly isn’t touch screen. Switch to the front, and you will find the lens and the LED flash underneath it. It’s certainly a nice addition for night photography.
Video Quality & Performance
As expected for such a compactly-priced action camera, the ACT74 has acceptable video quality. The colors are a bit muted and not very vibrant. Still, nothing that you cannot fix in post-processing if you have the time for that.
Even though this action camera can record at 4K and 2,7K at 30fps, these aren’t native resolutions. There is digital upscaling at play, which has a few downsides. It will eat up more battery life and will increase the chances of overheating. My unit felt like a hot toaster when filming in 4K for 20 minutes.
The Campark ACT74 shines when recording in 1080P. This recording resolution offers a nice balance of image quality and performance, and it is significantly better than 4K and 2,7K.
The lens is adjustable, from 170°, 140°, 110°, and 70° (from ultra-wide to narrow angles).

Campark Act74 Action Camera Review 2022: Best Chocie For You
Campark Act74 Action Camera ReviewPros

Time-lapse functionDesign and Quality
Modern standards are not very high on the build quality of Act 74. The camera weighs in at about 0.2 pounds and is quite large for its performance. This is due to the age of this camera. These dimensions and weights were standard amongst the cheapest action cameras back then. Due to the availability of super-light yet strong polymers, entry-level action cameras have become smaller and lighter over the past year.
Although the Campark Act 74 comes with a protective case, it does not provide the same protection as modern action cameras such as the Akaso V50 Pro. The Campark Act 74 is a good choice if you’re looking for a cheap camera to vlog or just for fun. However, we doubt it will withstand many bumps. Know more…
The waterproof case provides waterproof protection for your camera to a depth below one hundred feet. The Act 74 waterproof case has the old waterproof seals. We don’t trust the waterproof seals of the Act 74 case if you use them to protect your camera for other activities.
Easy To Use
Campark’s menu, like the Akaso EK7000 and the Drograce WP350, is intuitively arranged. However, some items aren’t labeled as clearly as they should be. Instead of noting the function’s “off” status on multiple occasions, Campark labels it as “close.” It is now called “timed” instead of “self-timer.”
Both the shutter and menu buttons worked well. It was easy to modify settings once I got used to the menu structure. However, it was not as simple as with the Yi Lite and GoPro Hero, which have touch screens.
Despite the built-in WiFi, the camera was not compatible with my Pixel 2. This also happened with Drograce and Akaso models. Although I was able to connect to the camera, the app did not allow me to view the screen or make recordings.

Campark X35 Review
The Campark X35 is an updated model of the Campark X35, a new action camera capable of 4K resolution up to 30fps, more battery time, and other interesting specs! Campark is one of the biggest producers in the action camera market with some of the most successful models especially on sites such as Amazon, in this blog, we review the Campark X35 a great budget-quality sports cam.
The new Campark X35 offers 4K video quality and 24MP pictures. The image quality, focus, and detail are high quality. It comes with a multitude of accessories so you can use it to get better footage. Unlike newer action cameras such as GoPro Hero 9, the Campark X35 can’t go underwater without a case.
But before we talk about its features, what comes in the box of the Campark X35? Inside the box, we can find the Campark X35 sports cam, 2 batteries, the waterproof housing, a USB cable, a bicycle mount, a helmet mount, a back clip protection frame, and a manual.
In this blog post, your gonna find out everything you need to know about this new action camera from Campark and its new features and some comparisons from previous models, such as the Campark X30. Has it improved? Is the video quality better, what are the specs, better audio?
Design
The Campark X35 has an elegant modern design, it is well built with good quality plastics and it has a black color. Its design is similar to its predecessors such as the Campark X30, the X35 comes with a new small screen on the front to give you useful information.
The dimensions of the Campark X35 are 5 x 1.8 x 3 cm ( 1.97 x 0.71 x 1.18 in) and a weight of 500 grams. The Campark X35 can go underwater with its waterproof case, it can go underwater up to 40m (130 feet).
On the front, we can see the lens of the sports cam, as for its buttons, there are only 4, two on top, to start and stop recording or to take a picture, and two on the side to control some settings and turn on and off the camera, the rest of the menus and settings we can change with the side buttons, which really gives this camera a great simple design. Campark 4k Action Camera Reviews (Buying Guide Roundup)
For people looking for an entry level action camera with an array of still picture settings and solid 4K video the Campark X20C may just be the ideal camera.
As with all Camparks action cameras the X20C comes with an impressive list of accessories for mounting to various outdoor gear for mountain biking, skiing and so on.
Part of the features included is a nice touch screen that has large menu buttons which are easy to navigate through. The screen isn’t as high resolution compared to a GoPro but it operates quickly and smoothly.
Still picture settings
The still pictures have manual white balance settings for daylight, cloudy and tungsten along with ISO settings. Overall, the still pictures up to 20 MP are sharp with good dynamic range.
Although this camera is advertised as a native 4K camera, sadly it is not. Again, Campark have interpolated the video from native 2K. However, the actual results are not too bad at all. I’d say the 4K is usable in brightly lit environments, but don’t expect GoPro or Osmo Action 4K video quality.
1080P video records at up to 60 frames per second, resulting in nice smooth video when used to record fast moving action footage. Know more…
