Things have been weird the past couple weeks. Mom and Dad left for a few days, which made me super sad, then they came home with a human puppy. He can be very loud so I refer to him as the screaming puppy. Mom and Dad now sleep on shifts so I only have to share the bed with one human instead of two, so that’s nice. I don’t know why they’d go out and get a new puppy without consulting me first, but he smells like Mom and seems to be very important to Mom, so I guess he can stay. Since Mom has been working from home, I’ve embraced my new job of being the house receptionist. I signal the alarm when someone approaches the house, and any and all visitors must first be approved by me. My co-workers are quite annoying and don’t respect my role as they continue to answer the door without letting me properly vet the visitors!
