ROMANCE (the finale)

Poppy set his sights on Talapio of all people.

I know Poppy tends to act boastful in an unflattering way, so I advised him to "act desperate" instead, thinking he would act more modest, but I think he went a little overboard.

Oh well.

Also, Thade wanted Sariah and Calvery to get together.

(That's Thade in the back sticking his eye through the newspaper.)

It seems like their personalities would complement each other, but this didn't work out.

FRIENDSHIPS

New pairs of best friends are:

Thade and Sariah

Susan and Nicola

Kurt and Black Teeth

Sariah wasn't taking any shit from anyone. Not even Kurt could stop her.

Also, Skin-Taker got into a fight with Hans over... a teddy bear... with Skin-Taker's wife's face on it... Hmm....

Earl finally decided to make a friend.

At least these two can have a good relationship in Tomodachi Life, if nowhere else.

I might do a mini-recap just to catch myself and everyone else up to speed with whatever changed since I last played, but we'll get there when we get there!

ROMANCE (continued)

A bit of a love enneagon happened (that means nine people btw), so I'll try to make this as easy to follow as possible:

First of all, Red Mary seemed to find someone who matched her freak.

I was honestly rooting for her...

...but alas, he decided to go with some NORMIE instead 🙄

I'm guessing Banana King felt bad after this, because he decided to play matchmaker and set up a date for Red with someone equally as handsome and charming as he is...

...at least in his opinion.

But don't worry! Mary was not going to stay lonely forever. Seemingly...

Milo wasn't the only man she attracted. For better or worse, she also caught someone else's singular eye...

But I guess it was too soon after Banana King rejected her.

I cannot possibly think of any other reason why she wouldn't want to date such handsome and pleasant men like Milo and Horace /s

Milo wasn't willing to let this go, though:

I question Milo's financial status if his "savings" can only buy him a single bowl of noodles.

Anyway, this somehow worked.

I wish I could tell Mary that she could just go to a grocery store and buy a pack of instant noodles plus a few toppings and get noodles that look just as good, all for like, 15 dollars. Like Milo is NOT worth that bowl of noodles. It's not a fair trade.

Circling back to BK, he and Nicola seemed to be going strong.

But would their relationship be strong enough?

I think I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

I really don't know what Nicola sees in Banana King, but whatever it is, it must be special.

Oh also, Hans wanted to get in on this too, but didn't. Maybe he missed the bus.

(Actually, the inclusion of Hans would make this a love decagon).
