Wildest Fantasy
Imagine knowing about all the universes. When Thanos starts to board the ship Loki tries to hand you the tesseract and tells you to go. You smile and step back with a shake of your head. You tell Loki this is the universe where you are the happiest. You tell him to think of you, his happiest dream of you two together -to use the tesseract to go there.
After a quick conversation that feels like a lifetime… Loki finally listens. He uses the tesseract and goes to another universe. It seems to be just like the one he just left. He walks around, his mind jumbled with thoughts of you… He knew better than to believe your lie that you would be fine.
Then he hears you. He turns and there you are. With a child about 5 years old. This (other universe) you is so happy he is back. He listens to you explain how much the last 5 years were so rough without him. That Thanos was finally defeated. This version of you had his child after the snap where he disappeared.
This was his happiest dream. His wildest and seemingly impossible, fantasy. The only universe where he had everything he wanted… but it wasn’t his original you. This was a place where he didn’t belong, but it felt so right.
