I love you being trans I love you trans women i love you gender exploration I love you self discovery
[link to the Reddit post]
[ID: two screenshots of a reddit post on r/offmychest by user awaythrowjessie, titled "My girlfriend made me realize I'd be happier as a woman". it reads as follows:
I am 33, born male, and have had major self image issues my entire life. I hated seeing myself in mirrors, pictures, you name it. I honestly thought it was kinda normal so I just accepted it.
Now about 3 weeks ago I was at my girlfriends house, we have been dating a little over a year now, and have plans to move in together soon. Now recently she has shaved her head to support of her friends with cancer (side note thenl treatments for that friend are going very well). She had since bought some wigs to wear while her hair grows back out. We were joking around as I have male pattern baldness, and when she went to the bathroom I jokingly threw a wig on and waited. She came our, saw me we laughed for a bit and she said "you know I think you'd make a pretty girl" we laughed some more but those words triggered something in me.
Cut to a few night's ago she asked why I've been acting weird lately and I just told her how i was feeling. She said "alright let's do this " and when I asked what she told me she was going to give me a bit of a makeover and put me in one of her dresses and if i liked it then good. I was nervous and asked what if I did like it would she still be attracted to me. She just responded with "Baby you know I'm bi, guy or girl you're still mine." Her words reassured me honestly i love her so much.
Anyways she finished the make up, fitted a wig on me perfectly and got me in a dress and even helped me put a bra on and stuff in a little so i could see what breasts would kinda look like on me. Now I expected to see myself in the mirror, laugh this off and move on right, but I didn't. She did an unbelievable job, like I looked like I had been born a woman, and when I saw myself in the mirror for the first time in my entire life, I liked what I saw. I probably stared at myself for a good 10 minutes before she finally asked me something. She asked what I wanted to be called. After a few seconds I said Jessie, I always like the name Jessie. She whispered in my ear "well Jessie, you look beautiful." And that was it, I knew this was who i wanted to be.
I'm nervous now though, my friends will accept it but my family are, well let's just say not very progressive. But this is what I want.

I was in line at Aldi and this girl with two toddlers in front of me had her card declined and she looked so fucking sad and said “let me call my husband real quick” and it was only 18 dollars, so I just paid for it, and she was very sweet and then as she walked off, the lady behind me said `”You know that was probably a scam, right?” and like, even if it was, like what a sad fucking scam, right? 18 dollars at the Aldi. If you’re “scamming” me for some Tyson chicken and apple juice and cauliflower, then just take my fucking money.
“A scam” people are fucking wild.

Update again: the host DMed me to inform me that they are not Arab but Afro Latina and they claim all my other claims about their event is false.
While I apologize for getting their ethnicity wrong (that was information given to me from one of their past followers) my point still stands that they frequently appropriate culture to make aesthetics of and allow their white friends to use them as an excuse for their racism. So no. I am not taking this post down.

Arcana fandom is at it again, three people notorious for supporting abusers and racists decided to band together and be racist on their own! As I’ve stated, literally none of these people are Japanese, and the sample artwork created for it shows it painfully.

Update: Host of the event is Arab, and has a history of willingly being the “token POC friend” for their white friends to use as an excuse to be racist. Other white arcana artists will bastardize cultures that are not Arab, then use them as a shield bc “they said it was ok”

Guys, stop being crap to creators. You aren’t hurting Amazon. You’re stealing from writers.
EDIT:
Okay, to all the people blaming Amazon and TikTok, you are wildly missing the point or misdirecting blame.
TikTok is an app. It is not sentient. It is not doing this.
Amazon is also an app, and it is WHERE this is happening.
The problem is the people who are choosing to do this.
In order to “save money”— please read that as “steal”— they are buying a book fully intending to read and then return it so they get something without truly paying for it.
Nevermind, libraries let you borrow books for free, including ebooks.
Nevermind that writers can’t keep food on the table or a roof over their heads (so they can also keep writing, btw) if they aren’t getting paid.
No, no, what matters is YOU. You wanted it, felt entitled to it, made excuses to yourself and others to justify it, and then helped yourself to someone’s hardwork without intending to pay for it. AKA “theft.”
This isn’t some vigilante, anti-corporations BS. You don’t hurt corporations by doing this. You hurt authors. You hurt the author your stealing from. You hurt every author who gives up getting published because of this behavior. You hurt other authors who sees this happening, knowing you don’t give a rat’s ass about them only want to selfishly benefit from their labor. These are people who work hard, aren’t paid a living wage, and are practically begging just to be fairly compensated, yet people continue to exploit them and take their hardwork for themselves. (Slavery is coming to mind, is it doing that for anyone else? Make someone else do all the work while you reap the benefits and do absolutely nothing to earn it, including not paying them so they can pay bills and eat?).
You hurt people. You hurt the people you are stealing from. You are choosing to do that.
Stop blaming TikTok and Amazon. It’s PEOPLE who are choosing to do this to other people.
Meanwhile, you could have gone to the library or used their electronic resources. Y’all are some fucked up, selfish assholes. Treat others how you’d want to be treated. If a toddler can understand kindness and caring, so the fuck can you.

By the way legislators aren’t making laws specifically targeting the LGBTQ community because of pansexuals or trans people without dysphoria or aces and aros. They’re doing it because they hate queer people, and want to make us existing openly illegal.
No amount of “but but but the new labels are making us look bad and people won’t take us seriously” will ever change the fact that you are putting yourself on the side of people that want us dead. So stand by your community, or put a damn sock in it.

I think this is appropriate.
“Gee Tort, why do you hate the arcana fandom so much?”
A group of relatively popular artists on Instagram is currently hosting a classical art event that is supposed to be a celebration of diversity but they banned any portrayal of religious culture because it’s “drama”
And when questioned the hosts doubled down and said they were mainly trying to prevent “the controversy” of portraying Muslim and Jewish culture through Asra, Julian or Portia, and all while saying they welcomed criticism and concern are actively deleting comments made by concerned Muslims and Jewish people.
To add on top of that, the main host of this event is someone who lied about having a psychology degree to try to gaslight me into apologizing to Savenkey for calling her racist.
That’s why.

Reminder as to why I’m doing this
Reminder to every single racist artist out there.
I can see you. And I will call you out.
There is nothing you can do to make me afraid of you.
I have been crossed and hurt by too many people online to even flinch at what an influential person can do to me.
Too many racists like you have tried to silence me by every dirty technique manageable.
I have no reputation. I have nothing to lose.

They issued a non apology because they’re still getting criticism (once again I am not censoring this person because they made a public, slanderous statement about me and has gone around personally DMing people, pretending to be a psychologist and using that supposed authority to “inform” them about how I was a “dangerous person”

This thread has kinda blown up both here and back on insta where it’s happening so I feel like I’ll be either getting a call out post or another visit from the faux psychologist about how according to *insert some misquoted study* I have *shuffles deck, draws card* narcissistic personality disorder that is causing me to*looks at star chart* start a cult to brainwash people into boycotting not them but their friends who are POC which makes me *gasp* racist
Or something. This sounds outrageous but it absolutely isnt to me bc this is exactly how my last conversation with this person went.
