back in my favorite city to vote. went to a bar I love and listened to live music for a couple of hours. I drank white wine, had some very tiny extra spicy felafel, chatted with strangers, eyed the good looking saxophonist and basked a little in the feeling he sometimes eyed me too. then a man asked to seat at my table. the place was full so of course I said yes. he looked at me frequently and smiled and attempted small talk which I politely answered to in the shortest way possible. then at one point he found out what my job was and the moment after he was explaining things that he thought I did not know. about my job. the concert ended, I payed, gave my compliments to the band, exchanged smiles with the saxophonist, and went home. still baffled now by the thought that when a middle aged man has one shot at impressing you he genouinely thinks the right move should be to explain the very thing you do for a living to you. anyway domani si vota amic* let's make ignazio benito mad
