This is something I felt for a long time and now that Helluva Boss thinks the exact same way I do, I need to get it off of my chest. I hate this narrative that some parts of the fandom tries to push that Striker is this hero of the working class and oppressed. Striker hates his lot in life because he thinks he is superior to other imps, not because he thinks Hell’s caste system is unfair. We have a hero of the working class and the oppressed, his name is Blitzø Buckzo. He brings up how unfair the treatment of imps is. He saved Loona and gave her a home. He made his own business and helped his friends succeed along with him. Give Blitzø the respect that he deserves.

Going from When I See Him, where it cuts between Stolas's dramatic lines and Blitzo saying things like 'we're gonna bone', to Mastermind, where Blitzo gets on Stolas's level to sing the incredibly theatrical 'only death can rend our love apart' in harmony with him, is making me see shrimp emotions.

FIZZ’S SUBTLE DEVELOPMENT IN MASTERMIND

Okay, so I know we only saw Fizz for four seconds in yesterday’s episode, and we got so much nuanced development across the board, but I was really impressed with this little detail!

While Fizz was under contract with Mammon, he was pressured to stay slim to match the sex dolls Mammon was selling in his image.

Just another aspect of his life that Mammon made miserable.

Then, after he leaves Mammon’s company, Fizz is markedly happier overall.

And we see in Mastermind through his texts with Ozzie that he’s joking about getting an entire sushi boat for himself to eat and playfully adds “and there’s nothing u can do to stop me!!”

He isn’t actually eating that when we see him reacting to the trial, but he is having a massive bowl of sugary cereal and what looks like a milkshake(?) or maybe something with whipped cream in a pretty bi-colored tumbler with a curly straw.

Fizz is free to have the food that he wants, and Ozzie is of course fully supportive of that.

I’m so immensely fond of Fizz and all his growth in this show, and seeing him eat whatever he wants, joke about eating big portions of food he couldn’t enjoy for years—well that sure does makes me feel a metric ton of emotions, y’all.

For someone who keeps bullshitting about how royals are so bad and screws lower class over, he sure is willing to screw a lower class over for a royal! He's such a hypocrite.

His whole shpiel about the higher and lower class is all nonsense. Man's just in for himself. He doesn't really care about the class dispute. He hates the lower class almost as much as the royals do.

Mastermind - Helluva Boss Season 2 Episode 11

Blitz taking the blame to save Loona, Moxxie and Millie. Stolas taking the blame to save Blitz.

I lowkey find it hilarious that people were talking about how Stolas moved on from Blitz...

To be with one of these guys...

Only for Stolas' love for Blitz to be so goddamn strong he was willing to lose his own life to save him.

And he did this fully thinking that his romantic feelings weren't being reciprocated.

When Stolas said, "I'll fucking die alone if this goes wrong," he meant it.

Stolas, really and truly meant it...

Even after one whole month of being apart and being away from Blitz, he still couldn't forget about him, couldn't get over him, couldn't come to hate and demonize him.

Despite Blitz breaking his heart in the most cruelest and stupidest way possible...

Despite all the shit Blitz spewed at him in the beginning of Apology Tour...

He could never forget the little clown boy that he spent the day with...

He could never forget the imp assassin that reinvigorated his life...

He could never forget all their stupidly fun times together...

To Stolas, it was Blitz, and it was always going to be Blitz

... and I find that so romantically tragic and endearing.
