Eight years of progress, from a spare parts comedic relief character to my shamelessly OP self-MOC, Cantor reigns as my most redesigned character, most developed character, and overall favorite build.

No major lore addendum for this one, as my AU is being rewritten basically from the ground up at this point.

Ey so I'm working on the annual ttradition of a bionicle movie retrospective and do we know any reason why Web of Shadows were the last Miramax bionicle movie? I have seen a few reasons (declining sales, Bob thompson's departure, piraka being too scary to parents) but do we have any concrete iddea why WoS was the last bionicle movie

Nothing tugs at the heartstrings quite like star-crossed enemies, wouldn't you say? It's the one thing Mazeka and Vultraz can seem to agree on, that's for sure.

I'll level with y'all, I can't think of a story justification for these two facing off as Toa, I just wanted to build them.

Vanasalienassir, Toa of Light and Shadow

Vanasalienassir is one of the guitarists of Karzahni's Host, and an heir to the ire of Stelt for instigating a class rebellion shortly after her transformation into a Toa of Shadow. Through her work with Karzahni's Host and with the gentle urging of the team's leader, Gregor, she was able to forge a connection with her inner Light, becoming a true Toa of Twilight. Vanasalienassir still holds onto her Shadow as a means of inspiration for her music, and as an invaluable tool for understanding the enemy she and her team face in the Brotherhood of Makuta. It comes as no surprise that her name is a point of curiosity, and Vanasalienassir takes it very seriously. While she understands how difficult it is to call her by her full name casually, she refuses to let anyone shorten it unless they can pronounce it properly and consistently.

Anywho, back into my swamp to balance this with another project!

Kalivaxa, Toa of Acid

Kalivaxa is the bassist of the all-Toa punk metal band Karzahni's Host, and a master alchemist. While she and her team focus on spreading their message, they put their money where their mouths are by directly fighting against the Brotherhood of Makuta. Kalivaxa in particular is reviled by the Brotherhood for her creation and usage of acidic compounds capable of slowly but surely dissolving protosteel and other highly resistant materials. Beyond her interests as a member of Karzahni's Host, she applies her skills as an alchemist by producing highly efficient medicines and distributing them in caches marked by her personal seal, a combination of the alchemical symbols for salt, sulfur, and mercury.

Vican, Toa of Air

Redemption's a tricky thing, but it looks like he's got the hang of it. Even when he's held onto everything but the Shadow, Vican stands as a shining example of what a Toa should be.

His weapon is a slightly downsized Power Lance, his torso was adapted from Vezon, and his legs were stolen inspired by a Toa Dekar MOC I saw on facebook but haven't been able to find again to properly credit.
