Isn't it fascinating how Hyuna believes that is important to be strong on the face of opression, but the two main characters she helps the most and develops deep relationships with (Mizi and Luka) aren't capable of that? They're both pessimistic and "weak" in comparisson to the rebels (Mizi giving up on humanity and ruining their plan, Luka's overall passive personality). Two pitiful, pathetic humans who Hyuna couldn’t convince.

And she kept insisting on both of them. She tried her best to comfort Mizi when things got bleak even as Mizi yelled at her and called the way she loved "cruel", and she took a bullet for Luka and used her last words to yes, take revenge, but also to tell him to forgive himself. Because she loved them. Because she loved humanity.

ivan's dumbass kept messing things up but he did genuinely love till‼️‼️ and till, whether romantically or not, definitely loved ivan too‼️‼️

ivan sleeps so peacefully in the wagyein's maw, even when surrounded by its teeth and covered in its saliva. in a sense, this is where he thinks he belongs - his true nature, the filthy place from which he originates, and his fate. he's comforted when embracing this, because he feels like it is more true to him than the pristine artificial paradise that is anakt garden.

but he can also be so at ease in this situation because he knows that as long as he stays still and complies, it won't bite down and kill him. he knows that as long as he behaves favourably, this threat of violence can be the world in which he can thrive. this is a representation of the compliance that has gotten him up to this point and earned him his concessions. because he obeys so politely, they know that he's tame enough to walk around without a collar, unlike the other children. he could never be the one that initiated fights, he could never be the one who tried to escape from the garden, it must be someone else that's dragged him into those situations instead.

this is another point of kinship he finds with the wagyein. both of them are wild creatures kept tame and subservient - they are both dogs, kept around to do their owner's bidding. the only difference is that ivan can try to hide it away behind his top student act and practiced smiles. but even his smile betrays his true demeanour. he can act just like a trained dog all he wants, but at the end of the day, his fang is always a reminder of the constant violence he was brought up in, the same violence that is ingrained and innate to his being.

I think I've seen every possible Alien Stage content in my reach, and it is not enough 😭 Fanarts, edits, fanfics, songs, theories, headcanons, videos, reacts.... I need more 😭😭😭

And well, I have a really interesting habit of accidentally making the extremely moraly grey characters my favorites, so it's no wonder my Alien Stage favs are Ivan and Luka 😂✨️ but I do love every character, I haven't found any that I dislike.

I loved all comics, but each has a different spot in my heart:

(흔적) Baby Till with his mother broke me so fucking much, I wanted to cry on the scene of them being split up 😭.

(Arise and Walk) Luka and Hyuna's comic made me love them even more, and I was so heartbroken once again to be reminded of Hyuna's death. Like, the other deaths I expected, because of the whole stage thing (not Sua, but that was first song, I was still understanding stuff), I didn't even think of Hyuna dying, and the way she died... AAAAAAA.

(My fragile god, fading fast) Mizi's past is soooo whumpy and I was SO shocked to see her mom's death scene. Like, we were in full lesbian scene and then- DEAD MOM. Really liked it too <3

(Scars + Remember Everything) And my favorites. I loved these two SO MUCH. I don't even have words. The whole mute thing and- AAAAA idk, I am not sane about Ivantill, idk, and the whole dark visual, black and white with only blood red as colorful stuff? Amazing. Adult Ivan becoming child Ivan and dissappearing at the end AAAAAA. Just. Everything. All details about it, I love. (And Mizi's new appearance? 🤯✨️)

I loved the other comics too, but I think those are my favs? Idk, those are the ones I wanted to yap about :D

Anyway. Sorry <3, I needed to tell someone about it, cause I can't explain to anyone irl that I am obsessed about a song series of human children being raised and killed on a stage for aliens to see and everyone is gay and sad.

I KNEW you would enjoy the freaks the most too they are also my favourite luka is my number one but ivan is a close second <3 luka is just so fascinating to me hes so pretty when he hurts and hes so capable of hurting others because of his uh "upbringing". He is scary because he's not just a pretty doll hes also really intelligent and has nothing to lose, while also being pretty much scientifically bred and trained and abused into being the most undefeatable opponent. Going up against him is a death sentence, like, just on a base level! I would be shitting myself just being in the same room as him to be entirely honest — and then he starts fucking with you live on stage for no other reason than to have fun?? Diabolical man i need to see him bruised up again i think

i cannot wait for more content of him but i also cannot wait for more content in general!!

Baby till has so much hope in his eyes hes the only one who had a loving caretaker (as far as we know i guess) and he was so so happy and babi whenever i think if baby till i want to cry that is just a little guy

Hyuna's "this is my revenge" looking straight into luka's eyes as she basically kills herself in front of him is among the greatest lines of this entire story. Also luka has such dead eyes all the time but every time hes looking at hyuna he is So Happy he really loved her more than anything hhhhgghaaagghh i need luka pov NOW!!! WHERE IS IT!!!

Mizi's "oh shes a little fucked up actually" comic!! I absolutely adore how her clothes don't really fit sua. I love her dehumanising alien owners. I love that thats where her initial version of love comes from, even leading up to the first round. That's what she knows to be love, and only later does she learn that its more than just this surface level fondness for cute things that you can control. She has to learn to be human. All of them do!! That's why I'm so not concerned with questions about how you could regard these relationships exactly. You literally cannot look at them through normal lenses since their lives are literally alien to us. Like relationships to these people are Way Different, they are so much more complex than "so are they dating or not" or "did he like, love love him?" There is no yes or no questions here, they each have very specific circumstances that they each navigate their own way on an alien planet that does not teach them even about the existence of love half the time, much less what love actually is.

And you KNOW i love scars and remember everything!!! Oughh it might be bc its ivantill and bc its whumpy as fuck but i have never stopped thinking about them. I rly am so sad that those ones have such shit translations but whatever i dont care the art is magnificent the whump is beautiful ivan being evil should not be real but i still wish it was till should be haunted and traumatised forever and i need more of this flavour of angst bc it is very tasty. Next to luka Till is the one i love seeing hurt the most bc hes never been any good at hiding his emotions! He should cry more i think hes very lovely when he cries... I could talk about these comics for two hours straight i think i have so many thoughts about them they're very good

Be not afraid of showing your enjoyment of things!!! I recently decided (again, bc ive done this once before but i was starting to feel bad about it again recently) that i will not hold back on my thoughts in fear of others calling me annoying! When i am excited about things i will send entire pages of thoughts at the nearest person like a cannonball and if they do not like it thats too bad you don't get to be my friend then!! Pls never be afraid of word vomiting at me ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS ABOUT SOMETHING IVE BEEN YELLING ABOUT FOR WEEKS like i am so abnormal about this story ive been wanting friends who give a shit about it forever

i feel like people have grown so terrified of sending long message or a lot of messages in fear that others will react negatively but i am not one of those people i love LOVE seeing long ass messages and 100+ notifications!! Be not afraid!!!!!!
