charity posts and stuff annoy me for some reason evenr though it doesnt hurt me to take a second to stop scrolling and repost it (not reblog, i actually never really see charity posts on tumblr)

i only get annoyed when theyre on like an addictive short video app . tumblr isnt that though . for some reason when im on an app like tiktok/insta reels i get SUPER annoyed when a charity video comes up because i have to stop scrolling Nd repost it and engage with it. and i get even more annoyed when MORE charity posts come up in my feed because i engaged with ONE.

idk wgats wrong with me Because when i get charity posts, instead of feeling bad for the people/animals/ill people i just get pissed off instead

andwhat REALLY makes me feel bad is that even when i have money idont donate. like ever. i have never dontated to a good cause and i feel really bad but like not be ause i care about the people who need help but because i have something in my brain that watches me and makes me feel bad if im not "normal" or empathetic/kind

i want to care about like. other people but i dont know how. like i KNOW i probably can but i DONT know how. like i dont ENJOY the thought of people being hurt or anything i just ddont really care enough to do anything about it

i think people generally view him as sadder, and bill as more evil, and pete as more edgy, and jerry as sweet. for some reason, most favor edgy or evil here--i mean, (even though they're really all just pathetic losers) as do i.. but still.

plus a huge portion of this fandom mainly relies on yumeship (selfship), and from what i've seen, most people don't tend to be very attracted to him.

josh isn't very edgy, and edginess is what people lean towards in this fandom... and plus he fits into the "discord mod" stereotype, which tends to be seen as corny or just plain humorous.. which it usually is, but that's besides the point.

he's sort of treated as a punching bag even in the comic/pilot, and the fandom seems to enjoy reflecting that.

but i wouldn't doubt that his weight definitely has something to do with how people treat him here. he's harder to make "attractive", or make him fit in with most peoples standards for "cool". people tend to draw bill acting smug or edgy, with their own little headcanons that make him seem cooler/edgier/more attractive. but with josh, they never do that. nobody seems to see him that way, when he could easily be just as smug.

him and bill are basically the same on the loser scale, the only difference is that bill is probably clinically insane.. and you know how fandom likes to make that a "cool" trait.

also, in the pilot, which most people focus on, he seems a lot less sympathetic.. i used to hate him before i actually read the comics, ESPECIALLY before reading his chapter.

i don't know, this was more of a shitty ramble than an analysis--i'd rather it not be taken too seriously. these are just my mini-theories on why people treat him differently than the rest of the club.

Hey so... I'm noticing a lot of Josh erasure? Or just general distaste for Josh... why? Is it really cause he's fat? Like, he's almost exactly like Bill but with guilt (so he's better in some regards) but people LOVE Bill a lot..
