What is death?

Is it a place we go? A thing we do?

How do you ever prepare yourself? Can you?

One minute they’re here, the next they’re not. They’ll never return. They’ll never say another word, never read another book, never hear another song.

The fear, at the end. It must swallow you. The fear of the unknown.

When the end hits, and the seconds turn countable. What will happen next? No one knows.

That’s the problem. But it’s the answer.

The problem with no answer.

How do we know? This thing called death?

I hate the notion of dumb, or stupid.

No one is dumb, or stupid. Some people are just not as smart as others. And that’s okay. It doesn’t mean they don’t have a flame. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t burn bright.

It’s okay to be not as smart as other people. That doesn’t make you dumb.

Animals too. I hate how we call chickens dumb. They aren’t dumb, they just aren’t as smart as we are. They’re just dumb to our standers not theirs.

Why can’t we set our own standers? If we’re trying as hard as we can, that should be good enough. It’s the effort that should matter. The doing the very best you can, not the comparison.

We all are all bright. We all burn. Don’t let others stop you just because they might be smarter. Smarter doesn’t mean better.
