Apollo's golden hand I felt— just as what had always surrounded me crumbled down: it was Apollo's golden hand I felt; right when borders had to build themselves to stand higher than chaos would let them, it was Apollo's golden hand I felt. with the swift change and quick glances, while starting to fear the overthinking and picturing myself on the floor, it was Apollo's golden hand there. I reach to hear your divine message in this irregular path to healing where change can mean opportunity since you cleared my mind of doubt— yourself, warm Apollo, with just a golden hand of yours.

A Prayer to Apollo
last night, i had to make the decision to go home instead of go to a concert that i was really excited about because my disability decided to act up. it was the right choice; i had a sore throat, and i was wildly exhausted, and needed the mental energy for today. if i had gone to that concert, i would've suffered today with my disability when i had a 10 hour shift. afraid of getting sick, i was sitting in front of Apollo's altar drinking tea to soothe my sore throat. i prayed and prayed and prayed that i had the strength in me to do my 10 hour shift today, and that i'd dedicate my tour today to him, but that i needed the strength, or at least encouragement. i went to sleep early, for him, to recognize that my body needed to heal, and when i woke up, every trace of fatigue was gone.
i woke up without a sore throat, with the energy and vitality, and i dedicated to making it a good day for Apollo, to thank him for his healing. I ended up having the best tour that I've ever had in my life (tour guide of 4 years), with the best tips i've ever recieved, and the sweetest people coming together admiring nature while singing songs from the 80s. Apollo was there, lingering in laughter between song verses, in the sunlight turning the van into a sauna, healing hearts through strangers singing one tune together. i was astounded and moved by my tour today, i feel like some of my faith in humanity is restored.
Apollo heard my prayer, not only of healing my body, but healing my heart just a little, too.

Praise today, O Lord Apollo and Lady Artemis, rulers upon the Sun and Moon.
The Celestial Twins, on this date, join each other in the sky, shining upon us their divine light and presence.
Praise the children of Great Zeus and Leto;
Hail Lady Artemis, the oldest daughter, who helped her mother at birth. Godess of the hunt, divine virgin, patroness of girls, their childhood and innocence.
Hail Apollon, youngest son, born by his sister's hand. God of the plages and sickness. Patron of the arts, music and poetry.
May they raise their bows and guide us towards their light.

I’m thankful for Hermes and travel, and I feel him when I drive, or am at the farmers market.
I’m grateful for Apollo and music, philosophy and how he shines through each rhythm and beat in the music I listen to.
I’m appreciative of Artemis and the independence she brings me, strength and the courage that passes through when standing up for what I believe in. The connection with wildlife and instincts, the empowerment I feel from her as a woman, all of it I owe to her.
The Gods look at us worshippers and smile, knowing they are treasured.

Offerings for Apollo, the Greek god of the Sun, Music, and Poetry…etc.
1: Music related objects. Since he’s the god of music, music related ANYTHING will work as an offering. Time to break out those old 2016 vinyls you bought and never used because you remembered you couldn’t afford a record player! 2: Art related things. Not only is he the god of music, but also art. Paint, oil pastels, or even PENCILS could work. 3: poetry. Yeah, this is self-explanatory. 4: Archery stuff. Own a bow and arrow you never used? Use it as an offering, Apollo will love it. 5: Frankincense, Laurel, Apples, Hyacinthus or Cypress. These are ALL things he represent. 6: Your own art of things he represents. Highly recommend. He also represents dolphins, lions, griffins, and swans. 7: Anything golden in color. Seriously. Own some gold hoop earrings? Trust me, he’ll take ‘em. 8: Depictions of the sun or anything related to the sun and light. 9: Golden cakes. Yummers. 10: Orange juice. Or any yellow juice, actually. 11: Yellow Jasper and sunstone. If you saw my Selene offerings post, you should know what to do with these. Use them in prayer, or blessing your tea!
Have fun working with Apollo! Good luck! ☀️

A prayer poem to Apollo and this Winter Solstice
Apollo, master of the fleeting light,
On this brief day, embrace the night.
With nimble fingers on the lyre's strings,
Let your melody in our souls sing.
Bless this shortest day, Apollo divine,
With gifts of knowledge, let wisdom shine.
In shadows deep, reveal paths unseen,
Illuminate minds with intellect keen.
Your radiant chariot in the sky,
Chasing the sun, so swift and high.
On this day of brevity, we pray,
Bestow upon us the light of day.
Apollo, god of the fleeting glow,
Guide us through darkness as we go.
In your celestial dance, we find,
Hope and warmth for all humankind.

Apollo of Olympus,
Bringer of the sun so
Perfect in his beauty, who loves
Like a dagger.
His prophecy and knowledge,
Accurate and swift
As his arrows whose targets are
Pierced in quick motion.
Healer on whim and
Poet in heart,
His soul strikes all with
Infatuation.

A morning prayer
to the Greek God Apollo.
and his bringing
of the dawn
in Latin
with English translation:
Latin:
Salve, Apollo,
Deus solis et artium,
Lucifer, qui auroram vehis,
Qui noctem fugas et luxem afferis,
Qui vita et veritas es.
Te precor ut hanc diem benedicere digneris, Ut animus meus claritate tua impleatur,
Ut via mea ad bonum dirigatur,
Ut labor meus fructuosus et prosperus sit.
Omnipotens Apollo,
qui medicinae et musicae patronus es,
Te adoro et te colo,
Et te rogo ut semper me tueri
et adiuvare digneris.
English:
Hail, Apollo,
God of the sun and the arts,
Bringer of the dawn,
Who dispels the night and brings forth light, Who is life and truth.
I pray that you deign to bless this day,
That my soul may be filled
with your radiance,
That my path may be directed towards good, That my work may be
fruitful and prosperous.
Almighty Apollo,
patron of medicine and music,
I adore and worship you,
And I ask that you always deign
to protect and aid me.

For Apollo's Blessing
How should I describe thee?
Fair golden locks and a smile that could kill.
Youthful, joyous, stern, and wrathful.
Destruction and life, hand in hand.
You are a danger most beloved.
Beaming, glowing, gold of light,
Blood-soaked, hunter of man, silver of bow.
Arrows of plague rain upon the guilty.
Soft, gentle hands heal the ailing innocent.
Lord Apollo, it is you, The Destoyer,
It is you, the Life-Giver!
It is your displeasure that kills.
It is your great joy that we prosper!
Through you we may experience
The luxury of education, poetry, and the arts.
Through you we may know our fate,
For good or ill,
And I pray, gracious, most beloved of Gods,
That it is for good!
Dearest God, fair of heart and fair of complexion,
You most beautiful and kind,
I acknowledge your great and mighty power,
And pray for your favor.
Please, Shining One, radiant and benevolent,
Look upon me kindly,
And grant me your blessing,
That I may carry your courage in my heart.
May I know my power, and be wise to use it.
Lord Apollo, I thank you for hearing this prayer,
And for your many blessings.

Prayer to Apollo
Apollo, Apollon, Alexicacus, Great Archer with the Silver Bow, Averter of Evil, Protector of Young Boys, God of Prophecy Cattle Light Music.
Thank you for the sunlight that streams through my window each morning. For the guiding light you give to all who ask. Thank you for the music that lifts my spirits and calms my soul. For the gift of prophecy that fuels my divination.
I ask for your gaze upon my younger brother, to protect him during our move. May your bow strike all that may harm him, and may you strike true, Great Archer, Protector of Young Boys. I do all I can to keep him safe, but I need your divine grace to lend me a hand.
For you, I am devoted. For in your image I live, and strive to follow in your footsteps. For you, I am giving what devotional acts I can carry out. Hear my intent, and I hope they are to your liking.
Thank you, Lord Apollo.
So mote it be.
