"Last I knew, you refused to drink." Armitage's words prompted Archex to lower the glass from his lips in favour of casting his attention over towards his former general. A brow is raised faintly, before Archex let out a tired laugh.

"Yeah well, things have changed..." Archex offered a shrug.

"Yeah... they have." Armitage seemed to hesitate, before smoothly taking a seat next to Archex. Seafoam hues studying the man he used to know— prompting Archex to feel scrutinized. Before Archex could open his mouth to prompt the man into either stopping or leaving all together, Armitage reached out and tentatively rested his hand over Archex's, "... I'm sorry."

Archex couldn't stop the twisted smile that pulled at his lips— allowing the touch for all it reminded him of bitter sweet times he was drinking in hopes of somehow magically forgetting. But instead of pulling away, Archex rested his free hand over the top of Armitage's own, "Yeah... I know."
