As if I didn't already have enough distractions, I went and bought endwalker against my better judgement, so wasted a month and a half on that since I got 2 free weeks login due to queue SAVAGE (thank you yoshi p). So good. Ugh. 5th area is a GIFT and broke me. BROKE.

Which is why this new old friend (🥲) is spooky as hell.

Had not even looked at ebay since getting my bargain Amy, but am having a meh time with life stuff, so off I went. He was listed as a doll leaves Leif but seller uncertain. I knew it wasn't, but couldn't 100% the sculpt I thought he was (Nozomi) due to not having a clear photo of his teeth.

Whelp, he's here, I have no idea how I won him on first bid. Don't have to 5000 angle him to match either, as the kanji in certificate is indeed Nozomi.

The spoopy bit without being spoilery - endwalker is heavily hope oriented. What does Nozomi mean?

Yeah, it was a Wallace/Wallis? Went for a couple of quid cheaper than Amy, which is weird as I think she's out of production now? Couldn't find her on alice collections. Just knew Amy was still going strong because I wanted one for the teeth anyway lol. The whole thing doesn't even feel like it's real.

The poor shop had both up as Wallis, so must have just copy-paste because that one was checked over first or something.

I thought my aod Wang zi was my best bargain at 70ish iirc, and with a tonne of nice clothes, but this one is just insane. That's my luck used up forever haha.

So even though I printed my own around shb release with the official square art, obviously, this was the true need ever since he was just standard g'raha.

But being in the UK, it's been very difficult justifying shipping and then whatever customs costs for him. Especially with cat claws around.

I completely randomly checked etsy, and the seller had b-grades at a hell of a lot cheaper AND the sides I would have chosen. I love og raha, but I am weak for mage and the hair clips. Yoink.

I was honestly expecting the worst as very heavily discounted, but he's just a bit streaky and a lil moreso on exarch side?

Shock, horror, Mirodoll wind wasn't my last. whoops. Absolutely would have been had I not found a bobobie Pandora on ebay. Almost skipped her since the seller had her titled as recast, but then I saw the yellow bag in the back of the thumbnail on a second scroll past and messaged during an offer that it was a bobobie not a recast. They ignored, but then relisted a lot later as bobobie, so, yoink.

Super in need of a really good scrubbing, but I think her face is actually fine. Just need to take out the squished lashes and hopefully clean around the rest. Lips are a bit jank with teeth white on them, so dunno if I'll scrub those and redo, or try to repaint over the white.

Good news - didn't lose my rebound job as a result of this lockdown (yet).

Bad news - working a bit more hours now with a second place to do ontop, so even less hobby time due to being paranoid about leaving the cats alone and bored for longer, so will be harassing them all 99% of free time. Literal permanent worst at this hobby😭🤣

VI is good! But I did have the today's benefit of looking up anything online if needed. Terra is a cinnamon roll, and all characters had their own story which made it great. The version I played had the dodgy translations though, and was mad. Tonberries were called pugs🤣

FFIX is smashing too, but grim. They all have undertones of it (X, entire plot more like), but IX gets grim FAST.

All of them came from my local forbidden planet at the time, so no postal shade either. No idea. Also why I won't buy any of the new ones. I was solo most of my childhood, even when not, they weren't as interested (read:fixated) in what I was, so no cool experiences in that regard, but goddamn I feel this passion.

Boycotted new Square except dragon quest and original dissidia for years after XII iirc. Did finish it, and have replayed it as the zodiac version, so now appreciate it a lot better being older. Especially after eventually playing the XIII trilogy super late (although not the final one to completion. The timer is an awful mechanic. Zelda, ok. Massive jrpg, no.), and getting roped into pre-ordering the absolute travesty that is XV.

I'm in FF for the characterisation. XIII had very little outside of tropes and XV had zero heart.

PSP days were grand. Crisis core is hands down one of the best damn things ever. Also managed to experience I (aka time to get lost) and IV on there, along with III on the DS. Played VI for the first time a few years ago too. They used to make them so GOOD. What the hell happened =( Can't even blame nostalgia for thinking that because I didn't play the older ones until waaaay outside of what would have been the nostalgic age.

Oh man. Fullset! Well jelly! VIII was a completely random gift when I was 7 or 8 I think. Ma didn't know what it was, and probably saw it in whatever shop's new section. And I certainly didn't fully complete it until years later (always borked the skill reclaim at ultimecia castle. I was stupid and smol XD), so didn't even know there was merch and stuff back then and missed out. I do now have the OG Laguna and Irvine, Squall as playarts, and a multitude of VII playarts because teen lucky enough to have disposable cash at their release time. Sadly mega crammed together into tiny shelves to keep cat safe now haha.
