The blood of Jesus Christ is of infinite value.  The blood of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son, the Lamb of God, was poured out so that our acts of sin may be pardoned.

God's Word makes it clear that the life touched and tainted with sin is a forfeited life. The soul that sins shall die, because the Bible says that the wages of sin is death. The mystery that we will never fully understand is that God wanted to save our forfeited lives. So the blood of Jesus, the divine Saviour was shed on our behalf. The blood of Jesus washes us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of His grace.

If you're like me, then you need these reminders:

Jesus paid it all. There is not a work you can do or a sin you can stop doing to earn your salvation. Place your trust in Jesus Christ - who he is and what he's done and where he is - and repent/give up your love and life of sin to him, but in him alone.

The christian life is not an easy one, but the difficulties are not exclusively external. Our own hearts are sin factories and even when saved we still have to deal with the flesh - we war with it as a matter of fact. The devil doesn't just operate through enemy nations and criminals, but through temptations, psychological and emotional turmoil, ignorance, and pride in ourselves. Frankly, it is more difficult to carry our own cross than it is to be a "good" person.

You are indeed capable of great deception and self-sabotage, so don't be surprised that you can overthink yourself into either salvation or a lack of salvation. Remember this: you are a great sinner, but he is a greater savior, and there is no sin barring one* that he can't/won't forgive. How do we combat the confusion? Let's see back to point #1.

Obedience won't save, you cannot be perfectly obedient, and true love inspires obedience. To be anxious about not doing enough can be born out of a good place but can quickly spiral out of control. Again, see point #1.

If you are anxious, pray. If you are peaceful, give praise, and give your all to the Lord and give it joyfully. He loves you, He's not a "cosmic killjoy" but the source of true and everlasting joy. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you (James 4:8), seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33), and love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength - love Him with all that you have and with all that you can (Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 22:37).
