Kangertech temperature control coils
When I got my kbox 160 I was able to start temp control vaping. So I picked up a kangertech nickel coil and set about giving it a shot. Now a friend of mine says he prefers is to watt control vaping so I was optimistic.
So I set it up in my protank 5 and filled it with some lovely sodalish by momo and started vaping & I didn’t like it at all.
I played around with it, trying out different temps…

The Avocado 24 by GeekVape
Tumblr media
The Avocado 24 is a cracking little tank by the folks over at GeekVape. It’s a hybrid between a normal tank and a dripper, providing in my opinion the best of both worlds. It comes very smartly pack with all the spare bits you’ll need the o-rings, post screws, a little multi tool, spare glass tank and a 510 driptip. It also has the usual authentication card too.
This rdta is great for beginners…

The TPD and drippers
So if you live in the U.K. you’ll be aware of the farce that is the Tpd. Some of this law makes sense like the need for child proof lids and what can and can’t go into the ejuice. Other parts of the law are stupid like the max 2ml capacity tanks. Which for means I’ll be topping up all the bloody time. What the law doesn’t say anything about is drippers as they don’t really store and liquid other…

Vapelemonade by Vapetasia
Tumblr media
Here is a wee ejuice review for you all.
I was sent some of this when my order was messed up so I thought I would do this review. So for this review I’ll be talking about the Vapelemonade Blackberry flavour. I did have two more but I gave the peach one and the pink lemonade away as I’m not really a fan of either of those flavours.
Yesterday I thought I’d give the blackberry flavour a go to see…

Coming up
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve done anything but Christmas. So I’ve got a few new toys that I’ll be getting reviews written up for soon. They are the k box 160 and the avocado 24. I’ll ask give my some what limited view on temperature control vaping as I pick up a tc coil for my kangertech pro 5 tank. I shall also do a couple more ejuice wright ups as well. So until then keep vaping folks.

The Kanger subox mini C
Tumblr media
Firstly I shall start by saying this is my first sun oHm capable mod, I have owned many ego style devices and another box mod but I’ll talk about them another time. I love this little 50w mod. I think it makes a great little starter for people new to sub oHm vaping, like myself. It’s really well built so feels great in the hand and looks rather smart. It comes with the protank 5 which sits on the…

Should I buy online?
These days shopping online has become more popular than going to the shop. It’s just so easy to go on Amazon or eBay and in a few clicks your shopping is done, great. But what about vape gear and ejuice? Yes online is cheaper and often far more convenient but there is often little to no customer service. Especially if you are new to vaping. In a shop you often have a chance to try the ejuice…

Fingerprints
When Apple released the iPhone 5s they started a new tech trend: fingerprint sensors on mobiles phones. Since then many other mobile producers have put their own version of Touch ID on their phones. But from what I can tell and from my own experience, so far only Apple have truly nailed it. When it came out people mange to 'hack' it with a fake finger print within days and claimed it to be insecure but personally I wouldn't put anything on my phone I didn't want others to know about. Mane I'm just old fashioned. Anyway, when iOS 8 came along Apple opened up Touch ID to developers. Awesome. Now I can buy stuff from Amazon or check my bank balance without out even typing anything. Which is amazing, I can use my thumb print to watch my balance quickly go down as its now stupidly easy to buy stuff from Amazon. So to sum it up, do I worry about somebody getting in to my phone with my thumb print? No not really not unless a cartel cut them off.

Still not smoking
Well this is the start of day 3 and still not smoked. In fact I've noticed my body behaving its self a bit more. It's even started to bring up all the goo and crap in my lungs. Fun. So all is going well which is good. One of the great things I've noticed is my clothes don't stink of smoke. Which is awesome as I never liked the smell of stale smoke. Anyway I'm going back to bed. So goodnight

Quitting Smoking
So I'm going to quit smoking and I'm going to write about it. I've been smoking for 13 years and now it's time to quit. Why? Well I've got 2 kids which I'd rather like to be around for and money. Right now a pack of my smokes is £8.16 and I smoke a lot. Within 2 months I'll have saved just shy of a grand. I plan to put aside the money then blow it on a new laptop at the Apple Store. I'm going to try vaping at first and if that doesn't work then I'll just go cold turkey. Either way I plan to let the Internet know how it's going. If this works and I quit smoke, well that's just awesome. And if not? Well people can read all about my downfall.

Swift
Today I have started a new challenge: teach myself Swift programming! Luckily for me Apple kindly provide a free book that teaches you the basics. Looks like I’ll be doing lots of reading then! One of the great things about Swift is that it can cross form iOS to OS X. Which is awesome. The ability to easily make an app that can be put on every Apple device that you have. I hope Apple open up the Apple TV for developers. I think having apps there would be awesome. Just think of what you could do with the Apple TV and an iPhone. Games and learning apps for kids. Maybe even FaceTime using a built in camera that many TVs have now. The list is endless. All I can say is watch this space!

Customer care
Yesterday I had to take my wife’s iPhone to the Apple Store. After a long time of nagging her she finally made the switch from android to iOS, and it broke. It broke a lot. Not the welcome to Apple I was hoping she’d get. Anyway in we went to the the store and half an hour later we walked out with a brand new phone. No questions asked or anything. It was just ‘yes this phone is buggered. Here’s a new one’. And that got me thinking: there are very few companies in the uk that will do anything like that. If I have have a problem with my Sky, it’s a bloody battle even to get them to admit the fault is at their end. Perhaps it’s because Apple is a premium brand. Or perhaps it’s the fact that they are a US based company. Either way it is always reassuring to know that the folks at the Apple Store are always there to help unlike my bank or Sky. Perhaps I’ll just have to shop at the Apple Store more. If my wife will let me…………
Thanks for reading. Matt
