I think it’s time I say goodbye to the DRP.  Roleplaying has become progressively more time-consuming and boring to me than it used to be.  In fact, Disney itself is a fandom I’m not particularly focused on at the moment (I’ve been more interested in DC/Teen Titans/Young Justice/Marvel).

It took me a while to decide this, mostly because I was so attached to this roleplay, and even more so attached to my characters (especially Peter).  However, in the last couple days, I realized I liked the idea of having Peter rather than actually roleplaying him.  This goes the same for Captain Amelia.

A couple months ago, I wasn’t able to get on due to school and extracurriculars.  Then when I came back, I lost the motive to rp.  Don’t get me wrong, this roleplay was addicting.  However, it’s when I stopped did I notice how much I didn’t need this roleplay as much as I thought I did.  And taking it a step further, I realized it was more of a hassle to get back on than anything else.

So, I’m sorry I’ve kept Peter Pan and Captain Amelia for so long.  I kept telling myself I would roleplay, but I never did.  Even when I had the motive to get back on, I left in ten minutes time, only because this roleplay was so big and there were so many plots, that I didn’t know what was going on.  I was out of the loop, and once you’re out, it’s hard to get back in.

Also, school started for me, and due to the overwhelming amount of homework I’ve received, I hardly have time to get on the internet.  

Anyway, I’ve also lost contact with most of the friends I made on here too.  I never went on MSN (or Skype I guess, since that’s what most of you use now), and I never went on here.  Honestly, it’s a lot more fun when you can talk to the roleplayers outside the rp.

Not to mention, the four people I enjoyed roleplaying with the most left.

In conclusion, I don’t want to hog Peter and Captain Amelia for myself anymore.  I know there are so many great roleplayers out there who would fill my shoes perfectly, or better.  I just hope that through the (almost) year I’ve been with the DRP, I was able to bring justice to my characters.

P.S. This took a long time to write.  I kept telling myself I would come back, but I know I won’t.  I just love my characters (especially Peter Pan) so much that it’s hard to let go.  However, if Spieling can do it, so can I.

Mr. Thatch, you say? Hmm, I don't believe I have, but I think he and I would get along nicely. Do you happen to know what branch of science he studies?

Linguistics, although I'm not positive.  How far have you gotten in your studies, Doctor?  Care to share any new discoveries?

OOC; I only do this with people that capture their character's personality well :P.  

OOC: that feeling when your reading something another character has posted and your imagining the voice of that character saying what has been typed. :D

Aside from The Treasure Planet characters, what characters from other Disney and Disney/Pixar films would you want Captain Ameila to meet from this Disney role play and or can see her having a good interaction with?

OOC; Eh, Captain Amelia isn't really the type to befriend every single person.  Of course, she's nice to an extent, and can carry on a conversation easily with anyone.  So far, I think Capt. Amelia has been good friends with Milo, but Milo is hardly on because she lacks senioritis -__-.  She would get along with more "intelligent" type of people in my opinion.
