Jay picks at the dandelions scattered through the grass. He sits stoically against the tree, his eyes transfixed on the past. His mind still swiming with memories of when he was lost. Flashbacks of being in the Administration. Of working with Ras. Of fighting me. Whenever I try to explain that it wasn't him, that his mind was corrupted, he just shakes his head.

"Nya?" He says, laying the freshly picked dandelion back in the grass.

"Yes?"

"Real," I say, taking his hand gently.

He nods, trying to grasp the reality he once had before it was forgotten. Decerning the truth from what was fabricated by Ras. Relearning who he is. He pauses for a moment before asking the next question, the one I know has been burning in the back of his mind ever since our battle in the tournament. So when he asks, "You love me. Real or not real?"
