Day 24 - How would they react to the player becoming a mindflayer?

Venus:

“Well… this is definitely… a look for you. Funny though, I can still tell when you’re smiling… It’s still you under there isn’t it.”

Looks are very important to him so he can’t help being a little horrified by the transformation but still trying to be optimistic.

Mav:

“Are ya alright?! You’re… you’re limbs twisted and melted. Are ya in any pain?”

No matter what, his reaction is just out of concern for the player than anything else. He’s not all that bothered by them transforming but more the physical and mental toll it might put on the character. If the player romances him and asks if he still likes them, he’ll say. “Of course, I’d never stop lovin’ you no matter what form ya take. Besides, you are kinda cute fer a squid.”

Fae:

“How do you feel? I can’t imagine a transformation like that is painless. You poor dear, you’re far braver than most. Once this is done, I’ll do anything I can to ensure you’re comfortable with your new condition.”

Fae does view the transformation as a condition, that the player is still there just given a new form. Still all afflictions come with their own burdens and he doesn’t want them to live in regret of this choice.

Day 23 - How do they react to the Owlbear cub visiting camp?

Venus - “Our camp is going to become a zoo if this keeps up.” *Cub gets startled and runs away* “Maybe for the best it finds somewhere else to sleep.”

Mav - “What’s this lil guy doin’ all the way out here? Hope he didn’t get into th’ rations.” *Cub runs off* “Aw, poor thing… but where we’re headin’ isn’t exactly cub friendly.”

Fae - “Well hello there, did you follow us here? What a clever lad.” *Cub runs off* “Oh… well I’m sure it might return again. More likely to find an easy meal here than in the wild.”

Day 22 - What are their reactions to the clown act? Do they approve or disapprove if you send them up on stage? What do they say?

Venus - He isn't a fan and will be fine about being asked to go up. "Of course, send in the bard."

Mav - He has a weird feeling about that clown, he finds him a little unsettling. He will disapprove if sent up. "I mean... I know some dad jokes but I ain't clown material."

Fae - He's actually pretty amused and will approve if you send him up to the stage. "Excellent, I'm certain I'll get this crowd to laugh."

How my cleric's playthrough has been going so far.

"Don't mention it, especially when I told you that book would be trouble in the first place." Shadowheart replied. A sense of warmth and reassurance flooded his mind.

"Let's hope it's worth th' trouble then." The voices were less vexing, he actually managed to read through the next few pages. Piece by piece, it was all coming together now. Spells, knowledge and promises from beyond the grave.

"... What exactly are you hoping to gain from this? You already have a fair bit of necromancy spells."

"I should hope so, since that's ma school of practice, darlin'... I'm hopin' this will provide us with more back up, more protection. We have no clue what lies ahead and it seems like the journey is getting more and more dangerous." Maverick replied as he finally closed the book.

"Just like you were hoping taking in more of those brain parasites would help?" She raised an eyebrow as she watched him give a guilty expression. "If you don't wish to get caught, try a little harder next time. Besides, it's not like any of us thought finding a cure for these worms would be easy."

"I know, I just.... I don't want something to happen to us. Even with all th' magic in th' world, I'm not sure I'll be able to keep us safe. That's what worries me..." He looked back at the haunted book, the relic that had been plaguing him for that last hour or so as if it would have all the answers to their problems. So far no one else in this area seemed to.

Her judgmental gaze softened. "Good thing you're not the only one fighting. We're all a team now... so don't act like our fates are solely on your shoulders. And go get some sleep or you won't have any magic at all."

He chuckled as he watched her head back to her camp. Maverick makes his way to his trunk, discarding the book inside it, for now.
