there's been plenty of pushback against youtube's plan to age-check users by using an AI to analyze everyone's watching habits, but amidst that, i spotted this playlist circulating among some teens:

Here's a super interesting moth that looks like a dead leaf! (FL)

MOTH ID - FL, USA:

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, there are few different Geometrid moths that look like this, so my best guess on this on is Curve-toothed Geometer Moth (Eutrapela clemataria), family Geometridae.

This species has a decent amount of variation.

Immediate warning to yarn users!

Knitpicks has recently been sending out yarn infested with carpet beetles. Apparently one of their warehouses has an active infestation.

They have shut the warehouse down for now, but if you have recent yarn from them in your stash in may be infested!

Knitpicks is not currently informing their customer base of this issue (pretty standard for them, unfortunately), so word of mouth is necessary.
