"Fiddlesticks would work," Zeke nods his head, "She just needs to re-direct her angry words, to--funny words," he says, thinking about the question, Zeke taps lightly on his own forhead, "Mmm, I'm sure we'll come up with something, Don't worry!" he nods his head a he began to make the drinks, "Oh it'll have something, alright!" Zeke teases with a chuckle. "Bitch away! what are friends for if not to hear each other... bitch, honeslty, honey, you know I don't I mind!"

So far, most people found Lily’s little anecdote somewhat funny.  Hard to believe such language could come from such a small little girl.  “What do you think would be less cussy?  Something along the lines of fiddlesticks?  And what would be a great replacement word for twat?”  Seriously, he wanted to know.  Although, he supposed he should start watching his language now that Lily was repeating him.  “Sure, I’ll take whatever you’re making…as long as there is something good in it.”  He shrugged.  “Trust me, you don’t want to hear my bitchin’.  What has been going on in the day and life of Zeke?”

To his friend telling him to come in, Zeke simply waves his hand, an amused smile on his lips, everyone that knew the witch, should know by now he was this kind of friend, his friend's home was also his home to him. "Well, I know you can look after yourself, but one can't help wonder," he shrugs his shoulders, "Please a pigeon takes way too long, and that's also a bit too old fashion, though it does have a certain..."he gestures with his hand around as the tries to figure out the word he wanted, "classy touch to it." Nodding his head, he goes to the cabinet and grabs the glasses, "Ah! here you are."

"Please!" Zeke scoffs, "I'm not letting you botch the art of cocktails!" he moves over to inspect what kind of drinks Elian had, "So? how have you been? anything new I need to know about it? how's your time at Cardinal? enjoying yourself, breaking a few hearts ?" he jokes.

Elian has almost no time to step away as Zeke makes their way into their cottage." Zeke." They sigh, of course their friend would show up unannounced, so much like himself to do so." Come in, make yourself at home." They joke closing the door behind them as the other witch made his way deeper into the home.

" I'm fine Zee, no need for concern." Elian walks towards the liquor cabinet." You know where to find, I'm either here or at the bar or you know." They tilt their head towards the landline phone that sat neatly on one of the wooden tables. "Just call, a pigeon with letter would also do fine."

Elian rolls their eyes." The glasses are on that cabinet over there, first row can't miss it. Tell me what you want to drink or I'll make something myself, it will be hideous and taste awful."

"Aright, I'm sure you can handle it from here, I'll see you in a bit," Zeke says to his co-worker, as he's about to leave the shop and go grab something to eat, it had been a pretty easy day at store, so far, not that it used to be crazy busy, but still. The witch figured a nice walk and a lunch at the park could do him some good. As he's just about to walk out the door, though he feel someone rushing in and almost knocking him over.

"Gez!" e munbles as he grabs on to the other's arm so he won't fall, "Yeah, I'm okay, you almost knock me out of obirt though," he raises an eyebrow as he looks the other over, "Everything alright, honey?"

Mateo really was doing his best to keep his new friend's advice close to heart, and remember that the past was best left in the past, of course. But some days were better than others, and today... Well, there seemed to be some uptick in the amount of couples walking around Cardinal Hill today, acting... couple-y.

Everywhere he turned! Right there, even. Mateo paused, as a pair of lovers came together to suck each other's faces off and his own scrunched up into a miserable expression. Okay, so not walking that way, apparently. Mateo changed course, prepared to start on another route entirely, only to freeze again because this time, an elderly couple was idly strolling along, holding hands, being cute and soft together.

Oh, his heart. That should have been Brook and him, twenty years from now.

In a fit of anxiety, lest he see yet another couple just having full on sex in the road or something next, Mateo ducked into the nearest shop and nearly bowled some gentleman over. "Oh! Forgive me," he exclaimed, grabbed onto their arm to keep them from getting shoved to the ground, "I didn't see you, I was just - well, being careless, clearly, are you okay?" Mateo released their arm.

"Hello" Zeke grins at the other as he makes his way into their home, without being invated, "I was making a potion and suddendly run out on a couple of ingredients, come to check out of maybe I could borrow them from you?" he explains as he makes his way into the other's ktichen, "But while I'm here how about a drink first? Catch up? You know, Elian, honey, I've not seen you in a bit, I was staring to fear the worse," he was of couse, just being his dramatic self, Zeke knew he was a little much to handle at times, not that that ever stoped him anyway, "so? Are you gonna stand there or are you gonna tell me where the in heaven's name you keep the glasses?"

"I hope you don't have any plans for tonight," Zeke says as he makes his way into the Ney's living room, he had just arrived at her home, and like always he didn't wait the for the invitation to come in, "I got us some movies and wine," he says, showing her the bag with the VHS tapes and the bottle on his hand, "I brought moslty happy things, some romantic comedies, I figure we could use some... AW in our lives right now," he places the bag on the couch, making his way into the kitchen, wine bottle in hand, He loves spending time with Ney, he'd just always have so much fun around her! They could laugh together, Gossip and pretty much act like silly teens. "So, sweetie, how have you been?"

One thing Zeke liked was a drink before bed, And despite being able to make one of his favoite cocktails at home, he'd rather have it at the bar, at least there he'd had some company, drinking alone was just never fun.

So he makes his way to the bar, finding a stool to sit once he get there , Zeke looks over at the Bartender with a grin, "Leo! Honey! So,do old friends drink for free or...?" The witch can't help but to tease.

"You know..." Zeke says looking around the cemetery, "Most people find this place mobid, I find it beautiful, it's a place of pain, sure, but also love and respect," he turns to his friend and smiles, "So, how are you, sweetie? I was just near by and deciced to come check if you were around, got any plans after work? Maybe we can go grab somenthing to eat?"

Zeke tried his best not to smile as Cass went on, it was a serious problem, but it was also kinda funny, the witch nods his head as he gets up, but stops to look at Cassidy, "You know, honey, surely this can be fixed, just talk to the little one, maybe you can find some... replacement words together, like instead of fuck say something less...cussy" e suggests, walking over to the ktichen, "Of couse, how about I make you the Zeke special ? Gonna be as good as new in no time!" He grins, "And you know, anytime you need to vent, I'm here for it!"

The sight of a familiar face brought a relief over Cassidy’s face as he sat across the person.  Sighing heavily, he started to rub his temples as he stared down at the table between them wondering where exactly he went wrong with the little one.  “On a scale from one to ten, how bad is it that your child may or may not be calling people a fucking twat when angry?”  Cassidy questioned as he slowly lifted his gaze to make eye contact.  “After the last few weeks I have had, not to mention the conversation I had to have with the daycare provider who by the way gave me the dirtiest look, I think I deserve a strong drink.  Please indulge me tonight.”

Walking through the picturesque streets of Cardinal Hill, you find Ezequiel 'Zeke’ Yang, the 37 year old clerk at Cardinal Crystals originally from New Orleans. Living alongside them in such a small town, you know that they're kind and nosy, but what you might not know is that they are a witch, and that they’re hiding something… ― Harry Shum Jr, pansexual, male, he/him.

Zeke grew up in a very tradicional family of witches, all his family wanted was to keep the blood line pure, and whoever was unlucky enough to not gain any powers was cast out of the family. Zeke never agreed with this, his values were differente, he was different, so that caused a lot of arguments within the family mainly with his mother. Once Zeke turned 18, his mother had already compile a list of witches, all from important families for him to marry, the last thing on his mind, though was marriage and a family, and since his family refused to accept this, to accept Zeke for who he was, he decided to run and never look back. He traveled around America for a while, staying for a short period of time before moving on to the next citty, that is until he found Cardinal Hill when he was in his early 20s, until this day, Zeke doesn't know how to explain it, he just felt, finally at home, finally like he belong, so when the time comes to leave, he decided otherwhise and have been living in town ever since.
