               it wasn’t often that zeno got to see such a vulnerable side to yoon. they’d been extensively traveling the past few weeks, and the ōryuu was sure that everyone was exhausted. but yoon always seemed to push himself beyond his own limits – testing the limits of the human body.

               the boy’s head lay heavy on zeno’s shoulder, a rather comforting weight as the dragon lazily threw a blanket over the both of them. he didn’t want to risk waking the child by moving him – perfectly content for settling in for the night. zeno was used to sleeping in odd positions anyways.

               yoon’s mouth was slightly ajar, usual stressed features finally lax with exhaustion. he really was quite adorable, yet he still insisted upon taking up such a large burden. zeno’s free hand came up to brush a few stray hairs from the boy’s face, fondness shining in his blue eyes.

               how he wished he could give everyone their childhoods back – their lives which had been so thoroughly stolen from them by fate. but for now, zeno allowed his eyes to slip shut, sleep claiming him like a temporary death.

I finally raided the Pixiv tag for Akatsuki no Yona and found a lot of fanart of Kija with Jae-ha’s hair bow and I was like ヾ(:3ﾉｼヾ)ﾉｼ!!!

Yona would probably think the matching bows look cute and Zeno would probably want one too but Hak and Yoon would probably be like “(≖_≖) He’s marking his territory…”
