Holiday well spent! Focus: root chakra clearing and grounding

✅grounded my energy in the backyard barefoot, sitting in grass

✅ released stagnant fears and old beliefs in ritual

✅grilled my favorite mackerel and sweet potato dish with my family

✅Learned how to make a coconut cream sauce from my mom

✅started the day with a fresh ginger tea

✅Found dandelion in my backyard and made a tea with it for the first time

✅Made a little salad with some stray radishes hiding in my fridge

✅Saged and swept my room

✅ took a cleansing bath

✅Exfoliated

✅ did a head wash

✅Gelled my curls and currently under the dryer hydrating with alkaline water

✅Eating the sweetest watermelon I’ve had in a long time

• There's no 50/50 for me because women have been doing most of the work all the time (working full time, doing the household and giving birth to a child)

• I deserve to have a soft life and to be taken care of

Dreamt of my other sister wearing an Orisha’s colors in Yoruba garb and a call for her to join Ifa as well as some advice. It was so powerful cause i always wondered if she had a spiritual backing too. She’s a Christian but makes sense she could find meaning in a structured tradition. Shes a disciplined person and would do well in an system. But doesn’t have to do cause this is about personal choice and personal power.

Your spiritual path is determined by your ancestry from blood to career/lifestyle ancestors but also the vibrations you emit. Energy never lies but it will meet you where you are. It chooses you. Go to the ocean and ask them to reveal themselves when you are ready.
