Dreadful Tale of love-prologue

In assemblage of all, I thought the step I took was the best. I said to myself, "it's time I stop being selfish". Like everyone assumed. Protective of the very one think I had no other in the whole town of 'Bamenda' had, but yet wanted. Proudly I kept my head up high as the others will sling at me slangs of jealousy, spit out poisonous comments and even set buggy traps on my way.

"Hey Beautiful!" Those words I began to feel like they made part of my name and I hated where it came from. Only boys with no future will spend time on the side of the road trying to get every bountiful ass that trod down their part.

Enraged as some could get for being warded away from a try, they could really do nothing because they knew where I was coming from. The family of 'NKINGS' no one will dare offend. I was the last born of the family out of 3 and my elder brothers kinda have the boy gangs in the city in their palm. I was like the only successful rose flower to bloom at the center of a thousand barren others. The thorns made it impossible for someone to pick me up unless I walked up to the person which I didn't have time for.

The issue is I know that no matter how breath take away a boy can be, deep in his dungeon is buried a jerk. And falling in love with them is unlocking that monster side of them. I keep them close but never close to give my heart away. I thank God I hold the key to it.

My entourage was made up of 99% boys. You now see my I can do what I want and get away with it. Hahaha...

The 1% is my best friend TRIXY who is shy as hell. I've tried my all since we were young to make her open up. But I came to realise that besides the fact that she will never change, I like her that way. It reduces the competition for spotlight 😌.

I'm called ALLY NKINGS, 18years old and my first year in the UNIVERSITY OF BAMENDA, is where I want to begin my story. Because, it was a decision I made there that brought me to where I am today. A female football team manager.
