My sister bought me a buncha the Haruka merch from the pop up event and while I wish one of them was Haruka in the like coffin I’m sure I’ll find it second hand eventually. Just sucks there’s no point in putting them up on my Haruka shelf up if I’m moving in two weeks anyways. Like I wanna be able to show them off but what does it matter. Tbh I’ll prolly have to separate the shelf into two separate shelves anyways so like… oh well. I’ll get to put them up soon enough (also hi Kazui)

Also I still need to put up my copy of HARROW on my shelf as well as photos of the CD but it might have to wait until I move as well.

THOUGHTS ON YUNO'S TRIAL 3 (some comments on the Voice Drama and Video itself, not really full analysis). Spoiler free comment: This felt like very much a TOPHAMHATKYO-esk song and I'm here for it. Well more like one of their more chill songs but like if you know you know.

There's something to be said that Yuno is probably one of the only high points we'll be getting in the entire Milgram T3. It's only going to be utter chaos going forward.

Only say this because of what I've been able to see of the voice drama. I mean, when you think of the other prisoners, it feels like she has grown the most from just being around them in a sense.

I love how Yuno comments on how each of the now deceased prisoners was pure in some fashion, and how she was envious that Haruka cared so much about something that it drove him to do what he did. I also love how she mentioned she didn't quite get why Mahiru would talk to her or still talk to her, knowing she had something that she always wanted.

THE FACT SHE HUGS ES AND ES CALLS HER BY HER NAME AT THE END AND THE FACT SHE IS THE REASON ES TOSSES AWAY THEIR HAT PLEASE THAT IS JUST AMAZING.

I like that this trial we get to see the crimes that brought the prisoners here and their reactions to it. I know to a lot of people abortion isn't a crime and I agree with you, but Yamanaka has come forward recently mentioning that this series was written based on societal norms and whathaveyou in Japan, having not expected such a huge international audience to begin with. Granted Yamanaka is far from perfect with his writing. Also possibly all of this is some type of simulation given how Yuno’s file ends compared to Haruka’s but we’ll only know more once we see Fuuta, Mu, Shidou, and Mahiru’s (at least to grab a better grasp on it). Though I am curious if we’ll get some sort of epilogue animation. Would be nice to see if Es gets to be free and gets to see everyone or something (super big wishful thinking but ya know)

Also the fact the ages are all different. Like Yuno's adds up with where her age would technically be at the start of Milgram but Haruka's does not. There's multiple reasons possibly on why Haruka's is the way his is (didn't really care for his age so he wasn't sure, etc.) but it's also possible the sinners were ripped from different times and placed in Milgram at the age of which their crime was committed.

End of the day the series is not perfect and I feel it's relatively flawed but I digress.

The imagery here was so beautiful and I'm excited to see what's next. Also those last few lyrics are just god ow. I think those are all my thoughts at the moment.

As of writing this (like 5:30 AM CST, so about 30 minutes after release) this is where Yuno’s verdict lies. Very much right about how nothing is very 100% in one direction (this also reminded me Haruka is dead like yeah I can read it but it doesn’t make me feel any better ima still cry about it)

I'm just gonna make the post real quick to apologize about some of the misinformation I feel like I spread when getting so excited about Milgram. I was expecting they would have put Shidou and Mahiru before Yuno just to give context but also it makes sense why they wouldn't. I feel like I also already made one of these posts previously but felt the need to do so again. I do have a lil post screaming about the Life stuff that I'll post here in a bit just trying to make it look a lil more pretty. I'll also post the CD and such once it arrives as I haven't shipped it to myself yet since I'm moving soon. Cheers

Thought I’d ask for an interest check since most people here are either Milgram or PM fans.

My sister wants to make the VDs more accessible for English cast since reading can be a lot for some people who also want to listen.

But she’s curious if there’s much interest in something like that. She’d be asking for permission to use translations and such and be putting a casting call up more than likely.

3. The fact we now know he was born in 1997. But if milgram’s project date assumingely started in 2020 that would make Haruka 23 not 17 so uh… hmmm

Anyways it’s sad to see that he was getting excited even when interrogated that police were giving him attention and that he died believing he was finally of help to someone.

I’m just gonna combine some of my very sleepy thoughts onto one post instead of multiple because I can. I’ll prolly have more later.

It’s no surprise I’m a big ol Haruka fan and knowing how he went and decided to end his life hit a lil too real for me. But like- I sure do hope we still get SOMETHING for the dead prisoners (look I need to complete the CD set as much as I can, the three I’m missing for T1 are expensive or rare)

Either way it makes sense he’d go about doing it like that given how he’s written.

Also straight up makes a meme I saw of Muu bringing Haruka food and him just peter griffin death posing more or less real and that’s awful. Also starving to death is so incredibly painful and he chose that way in particular.

Jackalope called Kazui a slur- that definitely woke me up in my sleepy lil state. Also no shock Fuuta was vulnerable and got indoctrinated through that vulnerability for something to believe in and whatnot.

This shot of Kotoko is just really cool. I mean I love Kotoko (not as much as Haruka but) I’m so excited to see how she’s gonna react. Especially with how Jackalope even made a point to make sure EVERYONE knows she was restrained like this because of how dangerous we saw her as. I’m sure she’s also gonna be beyond pissed given what happened. Granted, she didn’t really stop Haruka given the birthday TL but details.

The last shot of the prisoners was mean. I hate it here and I hate this series /j

This is TOTALLY me reaching but also I think it’s neat. I checked out my copy of Umbilical while reorganizing my Milgram shelf and it looks like Yuno has the same short hair length as she does in Trial 3. It’s not perfect but I do think it’s neat even if it’s all coincidental.
