The origin of this vampire's name is European (France/French) And probably his name 'Lestat' is a reference to the "heraldic Lesta family" and that add a 'T' at the end... or perhaps it could also be an unknown name of the time, because there was someone in real life called 'Lestat' (I think he was a king)

The surname "Lioncourt" is a mixture of two French words. "León" is "Leon" and "Court" is "Corte" or something like that... then his name would be "Lestat corte de leon"..

I give my opinion on Louis' religion! I give context for the backwards who don't know anything... (follow my humor okay?)

Context: In the book we are told in one part that Louis was very religious, to the point of even being against himself when he became a vampire... (Yes, at that level) I believe and I have the headcanon that Louis read the library and took communion... I don't know HAHAHA (or maybe it had an ornament of the Virgin Mary hahaha)

But leaving that as a joke and going more to my personal opinion... I am a person who hates religious people (sorry but I had to say it, it's because of bad experiences I've had)

Although, I am not someone who loves religious people... sometimes I feel guilty for being like that because I think that... some religious people are very respectful of other people's things but there are very few of them in this world...

I don't want to say this but... I just regret having gone to church a little, and the worst part is that it was my friend's church... (Yes, I have a Christian friend, or rather a partner)
