I would also protect you from the violent backlash those affected by your funny little dagger would seek against you “

It would do him well to have someone with this skill staying close by him but also to help stop this madness that was spreading all over his realm.

A deal. This doesn't seem like something he would be interested in, this place was some sort of hellscape, demons, malformed creatures and decadence all around in that city close by. Which made him trust someone looking human even less.
