His fate was not one the void beast liked- simply one he had come to accept. He would have found humans fascinating at times, perhaps even pitiful, if they didn't constantly interfere with worlds and matters that did not concern them. The void was something to be feared and respected- not caged up and controlled. The time of retaliation would come, be it lead by Malzahar or anyone else. Cho'gath as an entity was timeless, ageless. He would live to see the day.

"As they are? Certainly, the scourge mean nothing to me. It is when they pull magic from other worlds that they surpass us. No, Vel'koz. They are weak, dispensable- pathetic. It is the toys they play with and do not understand that threaten me." The creature straightened what little of its back it could as he addressed the floating eye's second question "I could, perhaps....but you think they would give me the chance? I've been starving for centuries, never to be satisfied...they would not trust me." 

  He was taken somewhat by surprised by Cho'Gath's words, Vel'Koz corssed his limbs and eyed the "cage" once more. 

"I only thought that you would have the strength to surpass the humans, in both mind and body." He admitted, still looking at the ruins that made up the cage. Vel'Koz vaguely wondered what would happen if the cell was attacked from both inside and out. Would it be to much power to handle and then shatter? Or would the humans' magic be able to withstand it?

"But I will trust your words if you say that they stronger then you are in your current state, Cho'Gath... That doesn't get of the fact that you are in a cell to begin with though. Could you not control your hunger to a small extent, at the least to not devour anything in your path?"

The monster gave a slight snort, the sound akin to that of a horse's as he noticed that his sarcastic remark had been missed. It was painfully obvious that very few held anything close to his intelligence, save for Vel'koz who was constantly wrapped up in his own studies and did not bother to visit him. Not that the void beast blamed him. The floating eye's desire for knowledge was as primal and overpowering to him as his hunger.

"Be thankful, then- that you live such an....eventful life. That you are not forced to become someone's caged pet or experiment."

The monster's grimace seemed un-pleased by the suggestion, growl easily audible through his teeth.

"I should think even human scourge like you should be intelligent enough to figure out that such things are not edible- what would I gain by eating such...loathsome things to try and feed a hunger that can't be satisfied?"

A weary head lifted from the ground of the cage, monstrous eyebrows raised in curiousity of the sudden visit. The sight was certainly more pleasant than any human that could have come to bother him- a friend, he might have even called him.

 "I had heard such whisperings around the humans who kept me captive....I believe its a celebration of sorts? It doesn't really matter. I shall wish you a good 'snowdown' in return, Kha'Zix"

Dragging himself down the massive bar of the cage just to be able to stare in the eyes of his ravenous brother. He was probably going to sound annoying but the bug wanted to try what he saw earlier in town.

The creature almost gave a laugh at the statement, not too impressed. "Oh? And what tale of agony and misery do you have to describe with such a claim? Were you a spirit wandering aimlessly beforehand?"

It was as close to solemn as the creature would ever look now, eyes cast downward in pensive thought as his tail swayed back and forth in a carefully learned pattern to avoid the runed bars. He had never thought beyond the void, even as a young creation of darkness itself. From the moment he had been 'born' he had seemed to think of little else than consumption, of ceasing his never ending hunger, only later had Cho'Gath discovered that he was fighting for his own survival. To eat everything in sight was such a simple thought, and he could only desire to be gone with his own intelligence at times. He wanted to plan, to conquer and to discover, but again and again would the bottomless pit of his stomach cry out for food just after his most recent meal.

"I had not lost my sanity from my own hunger before, had I? This pathetic act of cowardice means nothing to me. I have come to forget what I would spend my time doing otherwise. But I'd rather not drown in your pity: what news do you have of the outside world? Are there any wonders to speak of which the void did not provide?"

  While listening carefully, his left scythe scratch one of the giant arcane lock. He felt powerless, everything in this room were above his basic knowledge on magic. Khazix want that much interested in the void conquest stated by the prophet but if there is one thing he wished for is to one day see his family run troughs this land free of binding like him. He longed for the day the Institute would be taken down so the former glory of the void could finally unleash their true strength. To be true, sharing a prey with the red terror was a big child fantasy of him.

Tapping with a rhythm on the metal structure he simply replied “My friend… you are definitively a model, I thought by now you would have lost your mind to this prison. I am surprised it didn’t drive you hysteric already”.

Green, predatory eyes narrowed into silts after being addressed to in such a condescending way, the terror of the void finding it hard not to snarl. Vel'Koz seemed to think of himself as the highest of the void creatures, did he not? All due to his intelligence. Something Cho'Gath knew he would have for himself if his constant hunger did not cloud his mind.

"So I am a secret to be keep in the back room, then? Away from all eyes too scared to face me? How pathetic that the scourge of humanity keeps me away from my own kind. Tell a look, Vel'Koz- are you too blind to see the runes on these bars with that eye of yours? The Summoners hold more powers than you care to admit if you think nothing can hold me back..."

  "Is a visit to much to want Cho’Gath? I had already seen Kha’Zix and Kog’Maw, yet I could not find you until now.

"Although I must admit that I had not expected to see a Voidborn with your strength and potential inside a cage, as you call it. Nor do I expect this cage to truly hold you down, or am I expecting too much from you, Cho’Gath?"
