Admirer of John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix.
His father, an electronics engineer, in August 1963, made him an electric guitar.
He completed a degree in Physics and worked at the Imperial College London as a postgraduate in the Chair of Astrophysics.
In 1969, he creates Smile with Tim Staffell and Roger Taylor. Their first album, Gettin'Smile, is released, released only in Japan in 1982. Tim left Smile and Brian and Roger formed a new band with Freddie Mercury, and then John: Queen.
