The little moments

Leonora enjoyed the solace of her room in the school of evil. She had her own place to relax and recharge after whatever the hell life decided to throw at her. Many days she would be curled on her bed, wrapped in warmth and watching the sun rise and fall.

But now it wasn't just her solace, her space anymore. It was shared with another person. Someone she'd grown to care and adore.

The hand let her shoulder after a squeeze and the curtain raised, strokes of sunlight falling onto the page she'd left off on.

Footsteps went back followed by quiet humming. Leonora smiled and looked over her shoulder and smiled you sitting on the bed. She enjoyed her solace and time to herself but she couldn't deny that she loved the little moments just a bit more. She turned back to the papers and returned to marking, not alone now and she wouldn't have it any other way
